To be fair, it's a somewhat easy mistake to make. There's a handful of male faces that are pretty androgynous for elezen, miqo'te and hyur in particular. Not too surprising given that such a style is very popular over in Japan but at least it's possible to make masculine/handsome looking characters too!

All in all, people can dress their character whatever way they want.
Or the lack there of, as it were. |

I certainly wear whatever I want. Most of my characters have quite a few outfits they can wear (I think Ganale has the least at three outside of his raiding and crafting/gathering gear, and Tahz has the most at like fucking twelve), all of them based on whatever gears I think look nice/appropriate to the character.

I just wanted to stop by to express my support for shirtless male Highlanders.
And shirtless male Miqo'te. And..well...shirtless male everything except Lalafell. Please no shirtless male Lalafell. Â Please. |

Seeing threads like this made me glad Asmo is a Midlander, with a reason not to be shirtless. But it nice to see most can relax and take this as a joke.
>.> Just kind of wished when I afked in the quicksands for ten or so minutes to do something around the house I didn't have to come back to seeing /tell of Asmo getting hit on. I have the afk sign set to five minutes... find someone else for you erp >.< |

It does kinda sound like this issue stems from some personal insecurities, perhaps of the sexual nature.
"Please cover up those handsome male bodies, I don't like looking at them and I come up with excuses to cover up the real reason why." If that's the case, the problem isn't the digital shirtless men, but something that should be solved elsewhere. |

I'm reasonably confident that OP just made it as a joke, because he hasn't filled his quota of joke threads for the month that just ended.

Maybe the insecure one is the person trying to "call out" anybody who points out something as benign as highlander men often going shirtless and assuming it's due to some deep-seated virtual pec jealousy, or god-forbid repressed homosexual urges. hint hint: you can choose your race, the people who want to have a highlander physique will have one because they picked highlander the OP also plays a highlander fyi roleplay?
