I know the game has a special font that it uses to make things appear like another language, even though the words used are all in English. At least from what I've seen in other places.

That said, let's see if we can translate the Demon Tome.

Eorzean isn't too difficult if the lettering isn't blurry. I'll take a stab at it when I get off work. Interestingly, someone on tumblr just translated the demon tome from Gubal's 2nd boss and the words are in Dragonspeak! I'll try to post that up in a couple hours as well.

But yes, even if the book turns out to be in another language, the words are all real words and not just random lettering. Even arcanist books can be read if you squint hard enough.

There were a few questions about it on the official forums, basically it amounts to Gibberish or some sort of demonspeak that is truly ancient.

What does it mean? No clue.

There's a lot of talk of death. (Morn = Death? if I remember correctly?)
Atomos is mentioned twice.
