Will update for Full Notes. Can I mention how nice but FRUSTRATING the new layout is for news topics on the lodestone. Much more graphic, object oriented and I can't really share the info without it looking like beans.

Managing Your Squadron
1. Recruit squadron members.
A squadron cannot be formed until you have at least four members. This can be accomplished by completing objectives in your challenge log, which will attract new recruits to join your squadron.
All enlistment papers received will be delivered to your desk inside the squadron barracks.
When a potential recruit piques your interest, select Question when viewing their enlistment papers to call them into the barracks and view their profile. If they are to your satisfaction, you can then recruit them to join your squardron.
The barracks has room for eight soldiers. If you have reached this limit and wish to enlist new recruits, you must first discharge one of the existing squadron members.
You may also choose to postpone a potential recruit's enlistment or dismiss them when reviewing their papers. Please note that if you postpone enlistment, you cannot review the next application until you choose to accept or dismiss the current applicant.
2. Train your recruits.
After assembling your first squadron, they must undertake the introductory mission "City Patrol." After successfully completing this mission, they may undertake training courses posted on the regimen board. Training courses will provide increases to the squadron's overall physical, mental, and tactical abilities. The focus on which attribute is improved varies from course to course, and you are free to concentrate on the areas in which you wish your squadron to excel.
Each training course takes 1 hour to complete (Earth time). When a training course is complete, all recruits present in the barracks will receive experience points, and the squadron's overall attributes will increase.
* Recruits can undertake training courses up to three times a day. Training sessions are renewed every day at 1:00 p.m. (PDT).
3. Deploy squadrons on missions.
When your squadron is amply prepared, speak with the squadron sergeant to deploy them on a mission. Be advised that deploying your squadron requires an expenditure of company seals, with costs increasing as mission difficulty increases.
Furthermore, each mission has a minimum level requirement. At least one member of the squadron must meet this requirement to proceed.
4. Wait for your squadron to return.
Missions require 18 hours (Earth time) to complete. The time remaining until a mission is completed can be viewed by opening the Timers interface located under Duty in the main menu.
* When successfully completed, the same mission cannot be repeated for the remainder of the week. Mission timers are reset every Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT).
5. Review the squadron's mission report.
When the squadron returns from a mission, you can speak with the squadron sergeant to review a mission debriefing outlining squadron performance.
The mission is a success
Squadron members will receive experience points based on the mission's difficulty. There is also a chance squadron members will exhibit a preference for a certain squadron composition. This is known as "squadron chemistry," and it can affect the outcome of missions by improving attributes or increasing their experience earned.
The mission ends in failure
Squadron members will receive half the basic reward experience points.
The number of items yielded by Exploratory Voyages has been adjusted.

Purchasing an Apartment
Before purchasing an apartment, players must first attain level 50 with at least one class. Furthermore, players must have attained the rank of second lieutenant in the Maelstrom, the Order of the Twin Adder, or the Immortal Flames. Each apartment building can house up to 90 tenants, with each room costing 500,000 gil. Players are allowed one apartment per character. Furthermore, it is possible to own both an estate and an apartment.
Furnishings
Players can place up to 50 furnishings in an apartment. As with free company and personal estates, players are able to use all housing-specific features such as flowerpots, the orchestrion, the armoire, the crystal bell, summoning bells, and the employ of NPCs.
* Placing a furnishing in an apartment will bind it to you, preventing future trade or sale to other players.
Additional Facilities
Each apartment building also includes a chocobo stable, which is shared with all tenants. Here players can train their chocobos and change their color, and also assist in training other tenants' chocobos.
It is also possible to teleport directly to your apartment. Furthermore, a summoning bell and market board have also been placed close to the building for convenience.

Custom matches have been added, allowing players to freely begin battles in the Feast between two parties.
With the requisite number of players present, players can use custom matches to initiate 4 on 4 or 8 on 8 matches. It is also possible to invite additional players to watch via the spectator mode, which is explained in further detail below.
Rules
The rules of engagement and victory requirements are the same as those in a regular match in the Feast.
* The results of a custom match will not be reflected on player PvP profiles, nor will they count toward achievements.
Item Level Sync
An item level sync of item level 150 will be applied to all players participating in a custom match.
Rematch
When a custom match has ended, both parties will be given the option to begin anew with the same parties. All members from both parties must select Accept Rematch before a new match can begin. Using this option, parties may engage in up to five matches before they must leave the instance.
Chat
The following chat channels are available during custom matches:
Party/Free Company/Linkshell/Novice Network/Shout
* Both combatants and spectators can freely use the above mentioned chat channels.
* Use of the Free Company, Linkshell, and Novice Network channels also pertains to communication with players outside of the instance.
Registering for Custom Matches
A 4 on 4 match will require two parties of four players. Likewise, an 8 on 8 match will require two full parties. The party leader of the hosting party must target the second party leader and select Invite to a Custom Match from the subcommand menu. The party that sends the invitation will be designated as the Claws.
When the second party leader has accepted the invitation to battle, a new window will appear for both parties confirming registration for a custom match. After both parties have finished making preparations, the host party leader can finalize the registration to begin.
Registration for a custom match will be canceled under the following circumstances:
- The party leaders change areas.
- One or both parties change party leaders.
- A party member logs out.
- A party member leaves one of the two parties.
- A new party member joins one of the two parties
- One or both of the parties disband.
- The leader of the invited party declines the invitation.
- The hosting party leader selects Cancel All on the registration window.
Spectator mode has been added to the Feast.
This new mode can be used to spectate custom matches. Once initiated, spectators will be unable to see their own characters, but instead utilize a dedicated interface to operate the camera and observe the match from various angles and positions.
How to Spectate Matches
The hosting party leader of the two parties fighting in the Feast will target the second party leader and select "Invite to a Custom Match" from the subcommand menu. The hosting party leader will then target the party leader of those who wish to spectate and select "Invite Custom Match Spectator" from the subcommand menu. Please note that players who wish to spectate must be in a party of two to eight players.
* A third party cannot be invited to spectate a match until the second party leader accepts the invitation to battle.
When all parties have agreed to join, the hosting party leader can register to start the custom match.

Spectators will have access to three types of cameras.
Free Camera
Spectators can move freely around the arena using regular movement controls.
