amidst the chaos laid bare some many sennights ago in the harsh jungles of some unknown isle, a group of heroes work tirelessly to come back from the crushing blow made by the ever more powerful Nunh of the Falling Stars tribe. a) Shepherding the lost (Tuesday, November 28th, 2017, 8 pm EST)

After delving the depths of a ruined Garlean hulk, they return with an artifact in hand, mimicked by the Garleans, the Allagan staff holds the key to freeing the minds of those taken by the Nunh. Only issue? The target has to be damn still for it to work. Artoria Aldsan was last seen dealing with straggling forces in the wake of the Ala Mhigan liberation. Now, how to get the wayward Artoria to accept a Garlean experiment pointing any direction at her is the obstacle at hand!

"We must move quickly, the longer the Nunh is unaware of us undoing his work, the better. Every day we dally we risk our movements being betrayed by his growing army of spies."

/Falling Stars, Rising in the West/ - A tribe of miqo'te from the arctic seems to have not only found their way to La Noscea, but engaged in some form of protracted tribal warfare with the kobolds in and around the U'ghamoro Mines. Working in concert with a growing faction of arcanists, numerous crippling blows have been dealt to the beastman tribe, to general acclaim by all the good (non-beastmen) folks of La Noscea.
/A Curious Exodus/ - Warriors from the savage Falling Stars sept have been piqued with a curiosity for the outside world. By land, sea and air, more of them are leaving their home - and traditional, xenophobic mindset - behind in favor of seeing this Outside World that both the Nunh and some of their spear-sisters have been making such a big deal about.
/The Legend of the Nunh/ - A new story has begun to be told, in a hundred different flavors; that of a powerful, savage leader, Nunh of his arctic tribe, fearless and strong, brilliant and irresistible. Has he fought Flames? Blades? Garleans? Beastmen? Dragons? All these and more, while fathering a thousand children and wielding relics of Allag to boot, if you believe everything you hear. For now the stories are too diverse to be believable, but they certainly are entertaining.

a) Moustache-Twirling Villainy: The Train, the Cat and the Captain (Wednesday, January 17th, 2018, 7:30 pm CST)

A challenge has been issued, the gauntlet thrown down; X'cinna Ares, founder and part-time Warlord of the Golden Prints Sept, has been kidnapped! The perpetrator? None other than the vile Captain Cortez of the Brass Blades of the Aster! Reports have him heading toward the train tracks in Central Thanalan.. what nefariousness could he be planning??

"'e came outta nowhere! Burst through th' wall.. ridin' some big metal thing, like one o' those Magitek walkers but full o' pipes and steam an' gears! Grabs the boss, smashes everythin' an' runs out through th' other wall! Carryin' a load o' chains and wearin' a top hat 'e were, the nutter!"

b) Trials of the Bright (Friday, January 12th, 2018, 9 pm CST)

The Bright Ones. Former Clip-Tails - former warriors of the Falling Stars who were mutilated for failure and made into slaves of the sept, liberated from bondage and led toward a brighter future by benevolent Adventurers. Forced by the Nunh's unnatural wrath to flee Ul'dah, they evaded Goldentail's press-gang force of Blades near the Burning Wall with the help of yet more goodly Adventurers. On to the Black Shroud they pressed, and then further north, through Coerthas unto the borderlands of Dravania itself, seeking a place far enough from their oppressors to be free once and for all. Now, though, they've finished running.

"X'vann and X'orri... from what they were before, to this. Leaders of the Bright Ones; Vann of the Leaf, pugilist and scholar, and Orri the Redeemed, protector and steward. They've led the others, near two-score of them reunited once more, equipped with the skills they learned from every discipline of the hand, land and war.. to the realm of dragons. With a plan to go higher yet, though not in flight... or, hah, perhaps exactly that. For they mean to help face their former Nunh in Azys Lla when the time comes, and to get there, you need wings..."

The Crucible. For most Falling Stars, a legend shrouded in mystery; for Outsiders, little more than a whispered myth. Until now. The ancient site where it is said that in ages past a tribe of miqo'te was experimented upon, cruelly, by desperate scholars seeking immortality has now been rediscovered. It is the source of the ritual of the Fallen, the process which creates each Nunh and has more recently been used to empower X'zarann's chosen lieutenants. Now, Anstarra seeks to wrest it from his control. The first step? Establishing a siege upon an aetheryte-equipped underground bunker, hidden beneath the mountains of Coerthas...

"Taking the Crucible from X'zarann was never going to be a quick and simple attack. Finding it has taken moons.. hopefully besieging it won't be as bad. It's tight quarters, hidden underground and reinforced both by ancient magic and my own murderous kin. This is the first assault; probing defenses and finding means to obstruct aetherial ingress and egress. We need to lock them in; then the real fun can begin."

They say the Golden Horde in Ul'dah venerates him, as do a number of small cults appearing, especially in Ul'dah, but also in the other City-States. More tangible than the Warrior of Light to many, it's said that those who believe in and celebrate the Nunh of the Falling Stars receive boons in the form of protection, or the downfall of their enemies...

a) Attack on Crucible: Part II (Friday, February 2nd, 2018, 9 pm CST)

The outer bulwark of the Crucible, the true birthplace of the Falling Stars, has been breached. The mundane Warriors defending it have been slain or captured.. but what remains, beyond the inner gates? Aside from the secrets of the ancient Nymian stronghold, are said to await the guardians, the last sentinels.. the Unfallen, of the Falling Stars. Once Warriors, bodies and lives now twisted by use of the Crucible itself into something between their old selves and the Fallen they failed to become.

"Are we going to have to kill them? I don't know. I only found out they existed recently.. until X'red I never had to think about what becomes of those whom the ritual fails. I hope they're not as dangerous as her. Either way, if X'zarann's not parading them around, they're probably stuck in there. Maybe they're eager for company..."

b) A Golden Shade of Grey (Monday, February 5th, 2018, 7:00 pm CST)

After X'zarann's shocking display of Primal-like powers of Tempering upon infamous Monetarist mastermind Moiraine Astervane (AKA Goldentail), she was not seen or heard of.. until recently, where she returned to Ul'dah, only to be summarily arrested for crimes both against the state and against nature. The Ossuary won the bidding war to put her on trial first, for void-summoning.

The city was just beginning to gear up for the trial of the century, when her cell was breached.. by none other than her one-time teacher, rumored lover, and man whose ruin she brought about, U'dorian the Grey (who at one time was accused of crimes at least as bad, and managed to evade full punishment, though it cost him all his money and influence.. a sentence as good as death, in the eyes of Ul'dah).

Adventurers are being called upon, to take first crack at making him listen to reason.. or, failing that, at breaching his mansion and bringing both him and his erstwhile pupil to justice.

"U'dorian has been an ally, though clearly he's still conflicted over Goldentail. It would be good to have him back on our side.. can never have too many mages, against the Falling Stars. We also owe it to ourselves to see Goldentail.. dealt with.. conclusively, one way or the other. Is she still Tempered? Or was it only a temporary influence? X'zrann's NOT a Primal.. not yet, anyroad."

The floating continent of Azys Lla. A place of legend, until recently, though even now only the most well-traveled can claim to have laid eyes upon its forbidding countenance. Tunneled rock and soaring, futuristic construction lay side by side in this vista of most unnatural nature, secreted among the clouds and refusing to be bowed... be it to the whims of Adventurers or the will of the Garlean empire, whose mighty flagship Gration threatens to become a permanent fixture of the landscape.

Somewhere in this mysterious and terrible place, an antenna relay with the power to broadcast a telepathic signal across the breadth of Hydaelyn rests, untouched for ages. The Nunh of the Falling Stars has sent his minions to scouring the land, to find it, and secure his ascension to godhood. Those who oppose him mean to find it first.

"So, first we need to find the damn place. Thing. Outcropping? Is it gonna be a single room? A giant fortress? One of those fancy terminals? A living bio-weapon? The Allagans will never, I fear, stop surprising us with the horrors they created.. but trust my brother to make a superweapon out of one of the few things they didn't ACTUALLY intend to be one."
