Hey.Â Was just chatting with my FC last night and realized Eorzea, least the rp part of it, seems to be inhabited by many, many young people.Â But, where are all the older characters to pass own their wisdom and yell at the young to get off their lawns?

Thought it be fun to post characters age here and make a sort of census for ages.

So, for me, Ki is Mid-Thirties.

Vi is 28.

However Ave is 42! Want her to be a proper Ala Mhigan/Fist of Rhalgr, so had to crank up her age. Not that I mind though, I enjoy roleplaying older characters often more than younger ones.

My three characters are across the spectrum! Chachan is mid-to-late teens (I've been saying 16 just to peg a number to it), his brother is in his early thirties, and Judge is a grandpa in the Over 60 bracket.

Nahare is 25 years old. She'll be 26 this December, actually. My alt, Lucien, is 30 years old. Usually I prefer my characters to have a sort of middle ground when it comes to age, although I *have* roleplayed teenagers before. I guess it also mostly depends on what kind of personality type I'm trying for and then pairing the age with it so the maturity level makes sense (then again maturity and age doesn't always go hand-in-hand, but you know what I mean).

I have another potential alt who is 26 but he doesn't fully exist yet 'cause still deciding what to do with him....

Graeham's nineteen. After playing a blood elf back in WoW who was essentially middle aged I wanted to play a younger, less seasoned character this time around. He tends to act older than he actually is though - but I suppose that comes with the territory when portraying a diplomat...

Franz falls into a mystery 35-45 range. ICly, he has no idea.

OOCly, it depends on if we ever get more details of Garlean activities and culture. Assuming certain things like the fall of Ala Mhigo, I normally treat him as probably late 30s or early 40s. A single tear is shed every time someone calls him an old man.
