As one of the people who has had to notify Freelance of threads that have turned into all out free-for-alls or petty conflicts, I can safely say I am utterly flabbergasted that this thread even needed to happen.

I for one, am sick of seeing Freelance close thread after thread just because people can't be civil. And I'm certain I'm not the only one. So for the love of all that is lemon-scented, let's cut the bullshit and act like reasonable human beings, because allÂ of you know the rules.Â Every last one of you. Don't try and feign ignorance. And youÂ allÂ know what the consequences ofÂ breaking themÂ are. So don't.

I started Open RP with that sentiment, and had to refine it slightly.

So, hugs and I share here that focus on positives and please keep the negatives away.

I really feel there is only one rule I would set:Â "Be excellent to each other"

More focus on: positive takes on things, RP Relevance, thank-you, tolerance, respect, hugs
Less focus on: profanity, complaining, hogging the chat, personal attacks, off topic

While I would like to thank Freelance for posting this thread, I do admit that the elitism and conformity and community of this forum has gone beyond sour and uncivilized for every one especially new members who are new to roleplay or new to FF14 lores. There were lots of harassment and turn downs but also there were also definitely nasty comments throwing at each other.

It really does help if people tend to treat new roleplayers and regular roleplayers without having it as "first strike and you are out" . We are all here to have fun and enjoy, not to make this game seem restricted for everyone and make them lose interest in RPing

I will endeavor to be less understanding more constructive when it comes to stomping all over bad ideas discussing the valid points of people's stupid opinions on the nature of housing, god-moding and lore breaking subjective and potentially divisive topics.

I acknowledge I've been a bit dickheaded grumpy lately and own my part in this thread being necessary.
