So, a couple folks seem to have already nabbed the cultural clothes. Were they hard to get or are they just purchased for GS Points?

If you look them up on http://xivdb.com you can see how much each costs.

One interesting thing to note: You can get the wolf mount for apparently 1 MGP. But I don't know how accurate it is because it just came out today.

Oh! Well how 'bout that? I checked the Riviera top for reference and it was 3000 MGP. I'm hoping that is a paltry amount because I'm totally going to want all of them when I get home for mixing and matching. Blush

Yeah, they must have fixed it since I looked at it last. I was confused as to why it would be so low. lol

Fairly easy to get. Spend a bit of time on chocobo racing, did some gates, and voilÃ¡ my common as dirt outfit is finally available to me. It is only 3000 points, the NPC chest pieces, so fairly easy to get.

In fact, I'm grabbing the chest for my other character as well at the moment! Just do some chocobo racing and those gates, and you should have it quickly.

Question about Gold Saucer MGP awards:

What kind of reward ratios?

Is there a minigame that you can simply grind without thought (so not playing strategic games such as Triple Triad)? Just racing and not winning. Or just hitting the power block?

Like in Chrono Trigger when you can just fight Gato for Silver Points all day erryday.

I'd like to think there's enough variance in all of them that you can find one you enjoy doing to get those delicious MGP... but I'm sure someone will do the math eventually and say which one gives the highest constant reward for the least amount of effort. Like, finding out how to cheese the strength machine or something.

That's kind of a depressing thought, actually. If the game can be boiled down to something you could macro and then you just "push buttan, get MGP" while you watch a movie or something. On the other hand, it'd be nice to know if you just want to get to that 1M for the Fenrir mount.

That isn't a fault in the screenshots, I checked the lodestone. They lowered the cost of Ruin/Ruin II and that's it.

The special weapons are all based on existing rare models.

Books aren't really wielded by many enemies in the game, and there's no axe present either.
