I would argue with that. White hair has always been pretty darn common from what I've seen. Not really on Hyur too much, but tons and tons of Miqo'te for certain and also a really large number of Elezen for some reason.

Even back in FFXI white hair was super common, but you had a lot fewer hair color choices back then, so it was more understandable to have the same as other people.

But anyway, I confess that I keep browsing these forums and talking to all my RP friends on Skype yet I haven't been playing the game at all lately. Mostly due to wanting to play other games like MGS5, but also because the actual gameplay element of FFXIV was really losing my interest.

As Manari already pointed out, white hair is one of the more insanely common choices of hairstyle. Hell, in WoW you couldn't throw a stick without hitting a night elf with white hair.

I kid, I kid, but seriously, A lot of them have cropped up since ARR started, I took my queues from some of the NPC's I saw, and tried to explain it as him being a crotchety older fella but now i'm just one among the sea of many.

Considering i had white hair from day one.Â

I shit you not until around HW getting close to release I saw about two other white haired people every other week.

The commendation text box is a bit insufficient to really say more than a few lines about why you liked an rp post. I don't mind ooc comments, but i think people don't want to interrupt or break the continuous writing stream.

Confession:

I am beginning to love my character more and the game more as I piece together my first RP. My entire attitude towards the game has changed. I'm looking for beautiful scenes to collect and doing research on everything from kabutos to white dye to travel routes and major landmarks. Drama, samurai-esque philosophy, miqote tribal issues, war, abandonment, everything.

I can't wait to piece together my first journal installment.

My confession is that I've been quite busy with IRL due to graduate school, and I've tried to avoid some type of RPs that's been going on due to my insecurities about me being involved with them.
But really, I've been trying hard to get back as much as possible and I am kind of glad that my FC members are the first ones to encourage me back into the RP business.

I am very careful about what I've been doing these days since I don't check RPC wiki and update my own when I should be doing that.

I go through phases where I want to role-play but end up getting distracted by other in-game goals. At the moment that would be the urge to complete my relic weapon before 3.1 launches..

I think my only apology I'd have to make would be to apologize for those I agree to look up in-game for RP, and then totally forget to do it.

Sadly it happens a lot, I think. I'm not sure how many times it's happened.

Weird confession but...
Sometimes I intentionally avoid certain RP situations because I when I RP on Ashe sometimes I make him too confrontational. I don't want to accidentally flip that switch in him so I avoid certain situations, especially in my own FC, altogether >.<Â
Then I'm afraid people think I'm ignoring their RP or something for some higher purpose but in reality, I'm just trying not to be an ass >.<

Honestly I find the downtime between RP to be far too much work for what little RP there is.

Not really an 'RP' confession but,

I sometimes look at my friends list, see someone sitting in queue as dps, and queue up tank to see if it throws us together randomly.

No luck so far Sad
