Sorry, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this. If not please let me know. Would anyone be interested in a "Daily Life in Eorzea" Zine? Where artists and writers create content of rp characters in their daily life: Maybe a drawing of a character eating breakfast by the window in their apartment. Or a group of Arcanist's studying new geometric patterns at the Library. A bunch of friends spending a day at the docks fishing. Writers could send in short-story submissions centered around this theme. Or even a letter section where rp characters send in questions, quotes, or advice to those new in town. We could showcase local player rp hangouts in different servers too. Also with the new wedding anniversary option being added, I thought about throwing a "Newlywed life vs Happy Marriage" section. With a day in the life of cute rp couples. Stories about how they met, how the characters proposed, etc. Drawings of wedding photos and whatnot. I'm asking here because I'm not sure how to plan this. I've never made a zine before. I'd like to put an add out so artists, writers, and players could send in submissions, but I wanted to make sure there was a market for this kind of zine first. Thank you so much. I really appreciate what you wrote me. Well, it took a few days, but I have finished the sketch. It's a very straight forward head shot. I've attached a photo of it. Once it's colored I'll send you an update. I actually had a hard time drawing her because she looks very intelligent, but also the kind of person who is very calm and sweet. So, it was a bit of a struggle to bring out the right qualities. I hope I was able to, and if you see anything off then let me know in a message. I went with a more anime/manga style for her sketch. I think it will turn out well once colored. I hope you like it. also. I'll fix that eye, it's a little smaller than the other, and I just noticed. I'll have that fixed before it's colored.

Maybe the haircut with the bangs that goes to about shoulder length? And this character is actually a songstress. She's very outgoing and friendly. She's charismatic and charming, she's not afraid of being on stage, she's good with large audiences. Hey, I've started the sketch! I read that she had a good personality in the images you sent so I'm trying to show that in the drawing. I'll let you know when it's done. Probably tomorrow or the next day.

11/4/2017: I would like to sincerely apologize for the lack of updates to this thread. When I started this, everything was fine, but shortly after my Father was admitted to the Hospital with double Pneumonia and sepsis. He recovered but suffered 3 strokes while in the Hospital due to low blood pressure (he had a very rare artery disease, and by lowering his blood pressure so much- in order to keep the sepsis from spreading, caused him to not receive enough blood to his brain). My Father was then transferred to hospice shortly after and passed away 3 months ago. I have been recovering from my grief, and through all this, let my promises to have these drawings completed for you all in a timely manner. So, I am editing this to let you know that I'll be working on them again. Thank you for your patience. I look forward to drawing your characters. 6/13/2017 UPDATE: I have just finished Lihli's drawing. It took a lot longer than I had planned. I am getting back into FFXIV after my charger died on me, and I thought it would be a good idea to capitalize on my excitement by starting a value study. Unfortunately, I feel a bit odd randomly picking people's characters from google or instagram to draw so I thought I would post something here. These will be free, and just a way for me to maintain motivation. They will all be in grey scale because I need a lot of effort to improve. I'm only going to take 20 individual screenshots right now due to personal matters. If all of this is fine with you then please post a screenshot of your preferred character. I will respond to let you know if and when I begin working on it. I am by no means a professional, and am still in the beginner range so please don't expect a brilliant work of art- just a nice freebie from one ffxiv player to another. For the photos, I would prefer headshots, but if you have an interesting dynamic shot then that's fine too. Screenshots with dramatic lighting would be very helpful as well!
