Thank you for this amazing post! Both LS' are exactly what I was looking for (always trying to run dungeons with people from on the server, as Duty Finder doesn't have that same sense of community). My partner and I tend to be pretty quiet and stick to ourselves until we shove our nose into something, so that looking for RP LS is right up our alleys, too. I think we're going to just try out these LSs and then join a non-roleplay FC since all of the FCs aren't our style. (Required roleplay activity, required about of activity in general, required contact off the game.) So, once again, thank you for this amazing post, Olofantur! And thank you everyone else for the warm welcome and recommendations. Eta: I forgot to mention our roleplay backgrounds! We range from MMOs, to forums, to MUDs (way back when), to chats, to Dreamwidth/Livejournal, to messengers. Tons of different mediums, all online and through text. Heh.

Hi, there. I've been on Balmung since the server opening, but never got a chance to look into roleplay and whatnot. I decided to pop in here and introduce myself, as.. My partner and I are rolling a GLA and ACN (future PLD and SCH) duo on Balmung and are interested in finding a general in-game content FC that is RP friendly. We basically like to enjoy the game at our own pace, and also want to be able to RP at our own pace. (We're 10+ years experienced roleplayers, who novella/paragraph roleplay (5+ sentences).) We're looking for a FC that we can pop in, say hi, small talk, see if anyone wants to Fate and/or dungeon, and maybe join some group roleplays. No silly requirements or stresses. I've been looking through the directories here, but it seems there aren't many FCs or everyone requires something like a hardcore application. May resort to shouting in Gridania, but we'll see. Look forward to getting to know some of you!
