  1. Don't forget Gilgamesh, the Echo Knights Tavern Night is this weekend, feel free to come down to camp bronze lake and relax with your fellow RPers
  2. The 12th April is the same time (8pm EST) as the Echo Knights are hosting our Tavern Night at camp Bronze Lake, we're more than happy for you to come along and attend there, maybe you'll get some more recruiting done after a few drinks.
  3. Yeah, Had to slightly change my characters back story a bit with him being a Miqo'te and Astridr being a highlander, hence Regulus becoming adopted by my family after they found him abandoned and him taking on a big brother role.
  4. I. Basic Info Characters: Astridr Aamodt Primary character: Astridr Aamodt Linkshells: Echo Knights Primary RP linkshell: Echo Knight II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I would say that I'm a light RPer at the moment, still new to the scene and tend to feed off others. However could progress more as I guess I develop dependent upon my game / real life balance . Views on RP combat and injuries: Well, my main is a Monk and always will be no matter which other jobs I decide to train in, so I guess that injuries could happen, however I'm not planning on having anything to serious that keeps me out of the game for to long or having fun with or helping my friends . Plus if an IC romance happened, then maybe my character might enjoy being looked after. Views on IC romance: Guess if it happens, it happens. I've not planned for it, but my character is a bit of a flirt, and would potentially form a close bond with someone if the right person came along. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Well, I've all ready been adopted by Regulus in the Echo Knights who's taken on the role of my big brother, so that has all ready happened. Views on lore: The lore is something I'm not as up to speed with as others, but I'll do my best not to break it either. I try to keep it within the realm if possible and for things to flow. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Say is usually IC and I'll use at RP events such as the beach party, LS and FC tend to be IC unless denoted (( )). and use of the /em I'm getting more used to . [*] III. Other Info Country: Australia Timezone: EST+12hrs Contact info:Contact me in game would be the best method, or leave a message here.

  6. This sounds great. I'm totally new to the whole RP side of the game but really want to give it a go and your whole group and idea behind it looks like fun. So if you're happy to have a newbie to help and teach then I would love to join you Playing a Highlander Pugilist

    Hello

Hello everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you to the kind invite from Rock and welcome from everyone so far in game to allow me to try Role Playing for the first time with you --MMORPG background I have played a few MMORPGs, started in War Hammer playing a Black Orc and dabbled a bit in the RP side, well I played a large Orc , moved onto Rift, Guild Wars 2, Tera, the usual suspects. Always tended to stick to a main character and get involved in the lore. --RP experience Some RP experience as I hinted above, but nothing too serious as I was mainly playing in casual guilds which I used to make wait as I decided my character wanted to walk . RP is something I've wanted to get involved in a looking forward to learning from you all --Character My main will be a Highlander Pugilist expanding to a Monk named Astridr Aamodt. I'm originally from Scotland and the whole Nordic history appeals to me, so I got a bit excited when SE mentioned that Highlanders names were based around this idea. Pugilist basically as I enjoyed the idea of a hand to hand fighter instead of the normal sword for melee. She will be a bit reserved I think at the start, but always wade in to help people, sometimes without thinking and once befriending people will stick with them. Those are my initial thoughts, but I look forward to learning and developing with all of your help. --How did you learn about the coalition? By walking through Ul'dah as I normally do and basically being spotted and invited, so thank you all for the warm welcome so far --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? TBH I don't know yet as I've not actively tried playing this way before, I'm sure I'll enjoy it . --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) Full time Mechanical Engineer, originally from Scotland but now living in Australia. Thank you for reading my post! And, hope to see you all soon! Astridr
