I've roleplayed everywhere. Everywhere. From SWTOR to ESO, from early 2000s fantasy chatrooms to LARP, from long forum threads to the gahdam bedroom. Yet FFXIV has always evaded me. Time after time, whenever I'd gotten bored with a game, I'd go searching for a new one, trying out every RP-able MMO under the sun, until there was only one left... FFXIV. Anyway, I'm pretty excited to try out something completely new, where everything is gonna feel like a discovery. I've heard a lot of good about the game and the community, so it's about time I've tried it out. Not gonna lie though, things seem quite confusing, so I may need help. For starters, Mateus is pretty much always locked from what I've seen. Where else do roleplayers congregate? Is it possible to temporarily phase from one world to another, kinda like some games do via grouping teleports?
