Hey all, I'm new to RP but I'm very interested in finding someone a bit more experienced that can help show me the ropes to get into the feel for my character. Would prefer something ongoing. My character information is below, still a work in progress!: Alastair Belamure - Miqo’te Age: 28 Personality traits: Standoffish, can be rude. Protective of close comrades. Backstory: Raised by a Hyur family, unsure of his own tribe origin. The Belamure family found him as an infant abandoned on a pathway outside of Gridania. Works as a bounty hunter and drinks coffee excessively. Has an older brother named Severo. Useful skills - Cunning and caffeine resistance.

Hey! Ok, so I'm not brand new to FFXIV. I've played it on and off over the last couple years. My highest level class is 70 and my current main is 68, there's also a lot of other classes I haven't even picked up yet as well as crafting professions I haven't touched. I also haven't finished playing through Heavensward but I'm near end of it. I'm still learning a lot about the lore and the game itself. Now that's out of the way, the allure of role-playing in MMO's has been there ever since I started playing them. I've never really tried to get into it, but I've always wanted to. The extra depth it can add sounds exciting. I have some experience with RP on forums like Gaia from roughly 10 years ago, however I haven't touched RP since. I have what I'm sure are "cliche" ideas about role-playing a bounty hunter type character, but that to me is what sounds like a lot of fun. I just don't know where to begin. After much googling I found this forum which I'm hoping will help to meet some of the RP community and that I can eventually join a FC to get started on this new journey!
