  1. A very tall and somewhat haughty looking Elezen man leans forward in his seat, uncrossing his long legs and placing his hands on his knees. The words have caught his interest, and he looks the Miqo'te woman up and down, as if sizing her up, before speaking. "I have to admit, your proposal seems a good idea. I believe I am interested, if you've room for an aspiring paladin." With that, the Elezen stands and gives a rather elaborate bow while continuing his speech; "I am Ivven Rollenspeil, Wildwood wanderer and, as I mentioned, paladin-in-training. Well met." (( I tried friending you in game to send a /tell, but it says that the player doesn't exist? Anyway, please send me a /tell or letter in game I was originally going to roll on Balmung with my husband to do some light RPing as our schedule allows, but that server's been locked from the get-go so we rolled on Lamia instead in hopes a few RPers might drift there. ))
  2. It's always good to stay within the lore as well and to stay away from using NPCs and the main story plot of the game. I've seen some crazy modding to outright steamrolling which in the end either creates drama or ignoring. Cliques tend to also form and motivated by who interests them the most - if your character is boring or shy, you're most likely going to end up a fish in the sea. (which is where I feel comfortable) Being unique with the character you create can oft be hard to do - it takes time to develop a good character and what you think on paper tends to fall apart once in-game RP experience begins to shape the character naturally. Expect dynamic reactions as planning out RP most often doesn't fall in line with free form. Think of it as a separate genre if you will. I myself tend to like a laid back unplanned natural rp environment, where free form is exactly what I would expect within the confines of the lore - and yet without being down right elitist.
