  1. Lovely art. Welcome, and I hope you find some people to bolster your ranks before the 10,000 Needles get the best of you. .. That was potentially confusing. I meant, I hope you can find a couple people to join you in Cactuar World.
  2. *Was asleep in his room at The Roost.. Reports said a maid found him dead in his bed, suffocated*.
  3. Oh, Hi Kida! I just crossed you Miounne's Adventurer's Guild! Let's team up sometime, I'm a new adventurer taking his first steps in Eorzea too. You're quite lucky to receive such a warm welcome. I've been given the cold shoulder by the Hydaelynians, much like in Gridania..
  4. Hi. I'm new, and I'm looking to introduce myself. Well, I guess that's out of the way now. What else.. --MMORPG background Played Guild Wars then City of Heroes/Villains for a couple years. Then I played Final Fantasy XI for a year about three years ago. I played Star Wars: The Old Republic, but only for a few months. I've never really been a huge fan of the MMO genre. --RP experience I used to RP on miscellany forums as a teen, and I was always very apt at it. Having dreamed of becoming an actor as a kid, putting myself in the soul of a character was always a second nature to me. Guild Wars gave me my first MMO RP experience, and I found it glorious. I was in the Forever Knights ( http://www.guildwars.com/community/guildweek/gotw-2005-12-13-foreverknights.php ) for the entire time, and it was that guild who showed me just how much more immersing and grandiose an MMO could be if you "lived" your character. After that I moved to the Virtue server of City of Heroes/Villains, and I also had great RP experiences there, of a less organized and more random and spontaneous nature with many people on that server for about a year. I think I never saw as much free going and spontaneous, "anytime RP" as in CoH/V. It was great. Since then however, I haven't had the chance to RP much at all in the last 6 years or so. I never really found a role-playing Linkshell in FFXI, which was in great part why I was disinterested in the game after the first year. This last year I played SW:TOR for a short period of time, and while I had joined a truly amazing RP guild, JEDI ( http://thejedlorder.enjin.com/ ), I found the game itself rather stale and couldn't play it for very long.. I'm hoping that with FFXIV, I can relive the wonderful sensation of feeling truly immersed in the game-universe, once more. --Character ideas/info None at the moment. I bought the game yesterday. --How did you learn about the coalition? Google Search "FFXIV RP Server". --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? Medium to Heavy, but since I haven't role-played in years, I'd currently qualify myself as Light. --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? STDs.
