Mmm, it varies. I can't be too exact since things like that can be real specific, and as such the pricing on that can change. The prices on the initial posts are for generally basic requests. I feel like it would be too expensive to just double the price for a couples picture, but again, things like that and other additional details can be talked about with me in PMs and such so we can work out something past the basic pricing. ^^

Yeah so...I just recently stopped by because I thought about reopening commissions for gil until I caught wind of the policy change, or rather mention. Needless to say I was a little surprised at that. In any case, over the past few days I've been considering starting to do commissions again, to at least keep my art from getting stale. Alot of my past jobs haven't really been all that influential to my work, and I usually depend on my free time and motivation to keep me active in it. Anywho I've NEVER done commissions for actual money before, so yeah, I've never had that level of confidence. I suppose one has to start somewhere, though? Anyway, below I have some more artpieces, more recent and different from the ones I showed last time ^^ : Is that a bee? Yes, yes it is. A honey bee, to be precise. I do not do traditional sketches as often anymore since I now have a CINTIQ, but if you really want a traditionally-sketched out piece, just let me know. Bust can include the arms, depending on the type of position requested, for example. FAQ: Do you do NSFW art? I realize these days NSFW stuff is starting to becoming more apparent, at least to me. I used to do them but stopped for a number of reasons. At heart I don't really mind NSFW stuff, to a certain extent. I will not do things like vore, gore, and all the dark and grotesque stuff, just because it's a personal preference for me. Things like ecchi, borderline nudity, nude figures...I'm perfectly okay with that, couples or no. Any form of sexual contact however is not something I've heavily worked on so for now that's off-limits, simply because I dont think it would come out as good as I would want it to. If I get alot of support for it in the future I'll be more open to things. Do you do Backgrounds? Ehhh...I don't wanna say no, but not yes either. Yes, it's possible for me, but I'm even less confident about that more than almost anything else. That being said, if it comes to the point where you really can't leave it without a background, I'll see what I can do, but it will be tacked on as an additional charge. I'd prefer not to for the sake of quality. I don't want quite too much contrast in quality until they get better over time. What method of payment do you prefer? Like I said earlier, this is the first time I've ever decided to open up commissions for actual money, so needless to say there's some things I myself may not know about when it comes to this situation. I DO have a Paypal, however, and if that is the overall preference for people I'll fix mine up however it needs to be. When should I pay you? Honestly, I would prefer to be paid after the piece is done, 's just how I am. I know others have differing opinions on this matter, but it's something I prefer. And for whatever reason, if cancels are dished out or something comes up, I'd rather not have to completely get rid of it, if possible, or at the most deal with refunds. If you would prefer to deal with this situation differently, just talk to me about it in a PM and we'll discuss the details. Do you do any kind of special discounts or events? Mmm, it depends, but if it's your birthday, I can make exceptions, of course. BUT, if I'm getting like, 3 birthday pictures on the same day, then yeah, that's a different story. One birthday per day. =P I also may do other small discounts based on the kind of requests I get, like if I get alot of Elezen and Hyurs but not alot of Roegadyn, for example, I may provide a little "incentive" for the minority requests. ^^ Do you have any particular preferences? Mmm. I'm always up for a challenge, so if there's something unique you want, I'll try my best to adjust in order to make it the way you want, if not as close as possible. I like to try new things and not do too much of the same thing so it's a little hard to say what my preferences are. Point being I'm always willing to try something new. BUT. I like drawing lalafells and Roes the most. <3 Is there anything you need from me in order to provide the commission? Yes. Be as descriptive, informative, and/or complete in your requests, descriptions, and references as possible. That allows me to better ascertain how to design the commission and how to make it look according to how you wish to see them. The more information the better! I can obviously work off of visual references, but the extra bits like their lifestyle, personality, disposition, etc...those are all factors in helping me to draw up something that more than satisfies your request and be as accurate on the character as I can be. ^^ Can I use your art in other media or as a way to identify my character? I have no qualms about you using my art as a wallpaper, thumbnail, ID, or any of those things. However I'm a real pain in the arse about people using my work as profit in any way without telling me, or asking me before doing so. So PLEASE, show some respect for my (and by extension, other people) artwork and others, and either ask me or set up some kind of agreement with me. Wow, haha. And after I was thinking of coming back to start up my gil commissions tonight. Damn. Even though I can understand this situation logically, in a sense, it's kinda lame. Most of my gil funds are because of this too. Even after all these years I still dont feel all that confident about my art to be selling for REAL money but eh, what can you do. Kinda baffling they go after the artists who aren't even doing anything to the players but don't seem to be doing this kind of thing to the bots. The few times I come to Uldah and Gridania I still see bots just pour into the GC hall then port away so. In any case, that's a real disappointment. As someone said in an earlier post, in the most basic sense it is [KIND OF] against the ToS, but it's something that can be overlooked, especially since it's something that requires a mutual agreement (It's not like we're FORCING people to buy our artstuff). Oh well. =/

And here's the sketch for young Jet'a Vann! I found it a little difficult on how to draw him in terms of what he should be doing. Taking a look at the mini-story, I decided this would be best. Excluding other circumstances that kept me from doing this much sooner, it didn't take too long. Anywho I apologize for the delay and hope you like it! ^^

It's ridiculous, I feel like it's more the bots fault, because there are so MANY of them that Balmung is denying access to anyone who wants to come to this server. I mean, I would be pretty peeved off if JPN's servers never have this problem. But yeah, these guys weren't here last time I was on, and even then Balmung was still locked out, which begs the question of how they got in here.

Heyas chica! Yeah you had caught me when I went to help a friend do a HM primal, sorry about that! ^^; Anywho, this is in case I don't see you in game tonight. The little bit you've told me so far on your char looks fairly interesting. The only parts I can see here that might be an issue would be the grandfather thing, which actually wouldn't be too difficult to work out once I explain a bit more on Lydahn and what we can fix up or change possibly, and the manner in which your father died and what happened as a result. I actually just finished a developmental RP with Lydahn and a friend, and it is now at a point where my friend, as Lydahn's current "caretaker" IC, receives from Wyrnzoen in a message, a letter followed by a package which contains her father's weapon, but is not permitted to use it until she can better control her fury as well as the Dragonheart energy inside her. Wyrnzoen gave the weapon to him because he has no knowledge of any relatives who are still alive that could fill that role, and my friend, as Lydahn's caretaker, was the only viable option. I kinda have a way to counteract this conflict with you getting the axe from your father as a pose to Lydahn getting it from Wyrnzoen or my friend through means of a gift, but in order to do it it would have to involve you making some kind of contact with my friend before you meet Lydahn, so as to satisfy the condition that Denn would be the one with the weapon, and not Lydahn. However, before this time, Lydahn had not been using her father's weapon. I suppose I don't have a problem with the manner of her father's death but we'll talk about that later. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, perhaps the axe Denn took was not his ACTUAL axe, and rather that, the axe Lydahn is expected to receive is the one he fought with during his time as a mercenary, as well as the Battle of Carteneau. I think for me the biggest concern will be the names. To start, Lydahn Falahann isn't her actual name, but rather it was given to her by the people who opted to take care of her when she was born into an orphaned life in Coerthas. That said her real name is unknown, but her birth mother's full name is Koenainghil Lihtleitawyb if I remember correctly. However, I'd be willing to make changes if Denn's last name belongs to her mother. I'm kinda already set on her father's and grandfather's names so I'm a little iffy about changing theirs; their names are based on their abilities and the kind of people they were, and Lydahn's real name, takes after her parent's names. However I'm still deciding on whether that should be her real name or not. I wouldn't want there to be two mothers going on here cause to me it would kind of sully the sanctity of her family here. lol I know that sounds weird but yeah, we can talk about it sometime and see what we can do about the family ties thing. Obviously Lydahn's not gonna have ANY recollection about a sister in her life, especially considering she doesn't even know her real name yet, but I think that would be an interesting twist to have in the near future once we sort everything out, it's kinda exciting! However, as of now she's been recuperating at the basement of the Marauder's Guild since the last time she spent with her caretaker, so if you wanna set up a time when the two meet, we can do that. If you want that time to be ASAP, you're gonna have to think of a reason she would go down to the basement of the Marauder's Guild lol. I should probably mention this too but, due to the Dragonheart she's still suffering from side effects from it (i.e. memory loss, speech impediments), so yeah. Well I just wanted to write all this out for you in case I don't see you in game anytime soon. Whatever questions you may have we can discuss in-game. I apologize again if I wasn't able to reach ya! >.< I was so focused on trying to get my Daystar and I wound up capping at 709, but now it should be reset =]

Aside from the fact that I wasn't able to find a single NPC Miqo'te without a tribal name in the ARR beta or the brief times I checked out 1.0, I agree with you, but the absence of Miqo'te with a non-Miqo'te name does support that idea that although city-Miqo'te may not follow tribal customs, they at least originated from them. I think it's a mistake that SE doesn't seem to portray any member of any race with a name that doesn't follow naming conventions, but you expect this stuff to be written by designers and artists, not scientists, so it's not surprising that the lore seems poorly thought out and/or begging more questions than it answers. Now, I'm not going to tell other Miqo'te RPers they're wrong for breaking away from naming conventions as everyone has different goals when it comes to what they want from RP, and at this point I'd be alienating myself from a good number of the community if I did~ additionally a lot of the veterans were really in a tough spot, as there was no lore to be had at all in 1.0 really. Callypgian did note that "You are free to use or disregard this information as you see fit when developing your own Miqo’te backstory," and admits that this is based on real world science and not official in any capacity. It's an interesting read nonetheless, and I find that a lot of Sae and mine's ideas about the sort of tribal life the Rakka twins came from match this reasoning. What about the two Miqo'te by Highbridge? Even though they have Miqo'te FIRST names, their last names are completely something different, lol.
