I. Basic Info Characters: Dhemgeim Shyrdoenwyn, Reinette Sompt Primary character: Dhemgeim Shyrdoenwyn Linkshells: The Coral Sea, Ravenstar Allies Primary RP linkshell: The Coral Sea II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Heavy. I am always IC - even when I seem to just be standing there spacing out. Views on RP combat and injuries: No issues at all! I believe that actions mean consequences. If I get stabbed in the shoulder, then I'm going to be out of commission until it heals. I like to play fair and if that means my own character will come out worse for wear then so be it. Views on IC romance: People fall in and out of love in real life. It happens in RP too. I like to have OOC coordination when doing it, though, because after some mix ups in the past I've learned that it comes in handy. I do have a strict rule that private things stay private. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I don't mind this, but it has to be worked on OOC. My characters come with histories pre-made and it'd be cool to fill in gaps but I've never actually done that before. Views on lore: Lore is nice. It keeps RP consistent and helps tie the world together. Unfortunately FFXIV doesn't really give us much on a lot of topics and leaves us to either interpret or infer some things. If something's not in-lore but sounds like it'd fit the Eorzean world then I don't see why it shouldn't. More than that, though, if someone wants to break the mold and have fun they can do it. I will jut respond how my character will respond. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I use parenthesis when speaking OOC in say, but otherwise use /say as an IC medium. On rare occasions I'll break the forth wall with emotes, considering they're dictated by the player rather than by the character directly. I am part of a couple IC linkshells, where I will use quotations for speech and at other times describe things that can also be heard. If it's not an IC linkshell then I just talk normally. III. Occupation: Free Paladin. Free Company: The Coral Sea (RP). Social Profile Once a pirate on a slaver ship called the Hangman, she spent many years eluding the Maelstrom. Mutiny took it down long before the Calamity happened and left Dhemgeim with a desperate need to change her life. Fearing the Maelstrom still, she fled to Ul'dah and took up a life as a gladiator in the Coliseum. The Calamity came and passed and with great effort she rose enough to be trained as a Free Paladin.[/align] [align=left]Now she spends most of her time on contracts, a sort of honorable mercenary. She seeks to justify her life as a pirate with good deeds. Meta Profile Dhemgeim's meant to be rough around the edges but with a heart of gold. She is suspicious of new people but still willing to meet them and very capable of traveling all across Eorzea. I'm on almost all of the day, and if I'm not leveling or running dungeons then I'm most certainly willing to RP. I'm open to walk-ups 100% of the time. Okay first off. This has like a million more replies than I thought. I love you all, and thank you. I will definitely be sure to bother Demi to come to the next one, then! I'd love to see more of her around. And as for events, that actually sounds pretty cool. I can try to gather up some cool prizes, too. More than just RP prizes but something people could actually want? We could do things like... Lalafell Tossing or something. (Or volleyball. Volleyball works too.) !!! A wedding! You better come home sloshed or I will be very disappointed in you, mister. You know. The riddle event was a LOT of fun. I would like to see it happening. As well as more story telling. It usually rains more there but I feel like having the presence of an actual bar can help make a different. I might be moving the event around to different beaches and places until we find something that really sticks. Of course, this is all negotiable considering I'm making the events for you guys. However! More to the point! It'll be wonderfully fun to tease Lady Coatleque again. Yeah! I kind of like that! Like volleyball or maybe even like a sillier version of football? Some spots activities could be good, and dice would keep everything fair. Good idea! If I can make it, I'll totally protect you, Siha! Unless someone feeds me some of that wine I had last night. Then it's gonna be "Jello shots out of Siha's navel, everyone! Line up!" I'll pointedly give you some of the best wine in Eorzea. It'll be fun, I promise. *Ladylike fainty swoon* Oh dear, my innocence! Don't worry, Siha. Your innocence won't have to worry when you're being thrown out to sea as sacrifice to appease the cruel and beautiful Llymlaen.

Next Event: Date: June 14th Time: 6pm PST (9pm EST) Location: Costa del Sol, Eastern La Noscea I held one without putting up a thread, as I saw no real use. It was a test-run, more like, to see how the whole thing would go and what kinks would need to be worked out. Since it's such an informal event, the structure was nonexistent and that was a little troublesome when wanting to get people gathered to socialize. However, I found it fun and fluid as people were able to come and go as they wished. I met a lot of really great people this way and had a lot of fun. So, since the first time went along with relative success I figured I would do it at least once more. I thought I'd put up a thread here because, while the idea is minimal and therefor rather hard to improve upon, it'd be nice to hear anyone else's thoughts if they have them. Locations? Events? Games? It could all be added to an expanded on if the desire for more beach nights becomes apparent. Mostly, as a final and most important point, I wanted to post this as a thank you. Everyone that I met at the beach night -and subsequently at Xenedra's Soliloquy tavern night - were wonderfully kind. I'd like an excuse to meet you all again, RP with those I should have more, and have fun. It was a great experience I look forward to trying to replicate. Thank you, and I look forward to our next one on June 14th.

Hello everyone! I don't normally post here, but I thought I would introduce myself best by showing my second passion to FFXIV. I love drawing, and art, and all sorts of things of the nature. This is my deviantART. Recently I've done some art of my main, Dhemgeim Finished Commissions o1. Cuideag (full color bust) - 02/28 o2. Miranda (full body, full color) - 03/16 o3. Val and Faye (full body, flat color) - 04/03 Commission prices? These are... difficult to describe. I hate putting out flat rate prices for commissions because what every person wants is something different. There are a lot of variables when it comes into a painting, and detail always takes more time. Time, thus makes effort and so forth. So when I put a price, I will guarantee that your work will get done for the price it's worth. If you want higher quality, then the price will raise as well. In so far, however, these are the "flat" rates I offer: Headshot: $15 (b/w) $25 (color) Headshots are a simpler picture. They have expression but are focused on the character's face and distinctive features. I will admit my keenest efficiency is with these. Waist-up: $35 (b/w) $45 (color) These have a steeper price because they include posing. Waist-up can be anything from hips or ribs and above. Includes arms, hands, and detailed clothing. I do hold the right to adjust price for the amount of detail desired. Full body: $70 (b/w) $80 (color) This is a full pose, from the heads down to the feet. Clothing, hair, posturing, the whole nine yards. People who commission these are putting me through a trial! I love challenges, however, so I urge you to bring it on. These are the most time-consuming, however, so price adjusting is common depending on the character given to me. It will be expressive, dynamic, and I will do my best to capture your character as best I can. Background: +$20 (b/w) +$40 (color) My one weakness. While simple gradients or patterns are free, if you wish for there to be a scenic landscape in the background, it will cost you extra! Extra person: +double This is essentially a second commission. I will almost double the price. Commissions for gil? This is something I once did. Since it's the holidays, I am seeking more for a cash prize. If you want to charge me gil, I will consider it but you will likely only be accepted after I'm done with the holiday rush. How do I contact you?
