Eep! Hello and welcome! n__n I used to play WoW & GW2, but have since stopped completely because FFXIV has taken over my life. On Linkshells/FCs, you could take a look over at the Linkshells section of the website! There are plenty there for you to choose from and most of them are quite friendly. I'm sure Rhaq'a will find a place soon! Ohh Rhaq'a sounds like an interesting character! Would love to see how you portray his thieving habits. I think it is PERFECTLY alright to tell someone when what they're doing is not what you want with your character. You can control what you say/do in RP, but you cannot control how the other party reacts-- this is pretty much the basis of open RP. Like what ExKage said, it seems like the other party was forcing their actions upon you and to me, that is not okay. They accuse you for not respecting their character's decisions, but at the same time they are not respecting yours. Killing off your friend's character and simultaneously putting you(your character) in jail are big, big actions that will definitely trigger a change in your character if you do go with it... it should be ultimately your decision if you want to. In this case, OOC communication is vital for both parties to be happy!

FFX was my very first FF I've ever played, so this game holds a very special place in my nerdy heart n_n I think if I had to choose though, my favourite FF would be 8... just because there's Squall.[/align] [align=center][/align] [align=center]That ballroom dance scene with Rinoa just get me every single time... [/align] [align=center]WALTZ FOR THE MOON! :love:[/align] [align=center]The scene with Tidus & Yuna was great in FFX as well. That was probably my favourite scene in FFX, and for X-2 it's the opening. YRP is too cool![/align] [align=center][/align]

I personally love Garuda's theme! ...even if I spent my first whole session on her wiping and STILL not getting her. It was quite an experience though, especially when the fight starts and you just feel so badass with the music on. "WE CAN DO IT. WE CAN DO IT." then we wipe... and it starts again. The one I'm in love with is Twilight over Thanalan, which I think only plays at the opening scene of a new character. It was in FFXIV v1 but they changed it, if I'm not wrong. g00knvH5Oks It's so... enchanting.

Hello and welcome! n_n First of all, I love your signature! Antonidas' Silver Coin from World of Warcraft, I presume? I was an avid WoW player as well, a few years back and I still keep that quote close to heart. As Edalyne said, it would be good if you create characters on both servers, just to check out how the communities are like! For Balmung(the server I'm on), the hotspot is Ul'dah. If you come online about 8pm or so GMT time, the tavern is abuzz with RPers! For the Elezen naming, I wouldn't be too bothered about that unless you want to strictly stick to the lore. Or... you could perhaps even create a back story for your character as to why he was named differently(like my character)! I once overheard conversation where a Miqo'te revealed he was raised by Elezens when someone asked about his unusual name. This can make a character more interesting! Free companies(aka clans) will come slowly in the game once you've roamed around a little bit, so I wouldn't worry too much about that either. People are usually very friendly in the RP community! Hello! My name's Chesabell, or Chesa for short. I used to play FF14v1 on Balmung and I was on a different RP forum for a short period of time! However, I've stopped playing due to exams and I never picked up after. I'm in University right now(London) and since I do have some free time, I decided to pick up FF14:ARR! MMORPG background The 'large' games I've played are World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2! Not much RP in any of them, sadly. I played with my two very macho cousins and it's all dungeons, raids, rinse and repeat. RP Experience Honestly I've only RP'ed strongly on forums, back in my Sims 2 days(I still play Sims 3, love that game). On FF14v1 I've only roleplay-ed once or twice with another person. I've tried roleplaying with various randoms online, but they either ignored me or ran away to do their quest. I'm not that repulsive am I?! That being said, I hope to roleplay more by joining this community! Light, Medium, or Heavy Roleplayer? I would call myself a medium roleplayer, since I'm mostly 'in-character' every time I log on. Even when doing quests I think in my character, which is perfectly normal I hope. Character I play a fiery Miqo'te by the name of Kiterina Firewing. She's an inquisitive, bubbly and playful feline who left her hometown behind. Even though she may seem too carefree, she's actually extremely alert and cautious to her surroundings.
