Hiccup

Hello Everyone! I've been playing on Gilgamesh for about a week now, hanging out with the Driftwood Coast members! Really loving FFXIV:ARR, looking to give myself a little more immersion and getting into RPing a little more heavily. Really trying to enjoy the ride that is FFXIV because everyone that has rushed through seems to be crying about the lack of things to do... Shouldn't have rushed then! Anyway, I think I am a medium RPer often times just RPing out of habit during quests and stuff. I really love the FFXIV Lore and hope to meet a lot of friends in Eorzea. Working on Mika's backstory now. As of this post, I am a level 22 Archer still trying to figure out where I go from here!

I. Basic Info Characters: Mikasu Mihgo (Only child right now) Primary character:Mikasu Mihgo Linkshells:Driftwood Coast Primary RP linkshell:Driftwood Coash II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Typically I would classify myself as a medium RPer. Oft times I will find myself unintentionally roleplaying through dungeons or during fates, etc. Views on RP combat and injuries: I suppose that would depend on their context. I like the idea of fulfilling the thought of injuries during combat, Though I would only use the injuries in times of RP volume with other people from the LS. Views on IC romance: Accepted. It's a living breathing world after all. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): really like the idea of having family ties. It really helps with immersion. Views on lore: Almost feel it as a necessity. You live in the world so you should conform and utilize its beliefs and events. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I prefer roleplaying to be done in /say. It seems that it is more personal and can't be done through other zones. I like /fc RPing because it adds a new dynamic. I think the way Driftwood Coast does it is very well thought out. /fc for RPing and /LS for OOC! III.
