Greetings! As a long time RPer, from Everquest to City of Heroes, to World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2, I was very excited to pick up Final Fantasy XIV as it built up a head of steam in the late summer. However, I (like many people) found myself frustrated by the launch, and the game ended up on my back burner. I'm back now, and excited to play! I'm excited to see what the game has to offer, and the character that I'll be rolling with is a young ship-builder named Jack Barton. Like me, he has very little knowledge of the world beyond Limsa Lominsa, so I'm very eager to find Linkshells and Free Companies that will take me along with them on all sorts of adventures. I always aim to have a healthy mix of PvE and RP in my gaming, since I get a little bored if I focus on either for too long. I'm sure there's a free company out there for me! As far as my personal life, I work in professional sports so I find myself a bit of a closet nerd. Thankfully, my social life is full of nerdy deliciousness!
