  1. Seriously, aquaponic systems are really interesting. We'd like to attempt a small set up with maybe some strawberries or lettuce (both do very well with it) and tilapia because who doesn't like fresh fish whenever you want it!? Tilapia breed and grow very very quickly, so they're an ideal fish for it. On Gilgamesh I have Seda Moui, a Keeper of the Moon archer. I'll post my other characters when I remember their names, lol
  2. MMORPG background I've been taking part in the MMORPG experience since before the term really existed in a mainstream setting. From MUDS and MOOS to BBS based RP. I've tinkered with every MMO that's caught my eye over years but I've really got a soft spot in my heart for EverQuest2, Rift and the once glorious Star Wars Galaxies. I just started my journey here, hoping to see what comes of it! --RP experience I've been roleplaying for over 20 years now! Ahmahgerd, I'm gettin' old! >< Love me some tabletop though - good old D&D though I'm known to enjoy the World of Darkness (old and new) as well. --How did you learn about the coalition? I googled FFXIV RP --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? It depends on my mood. I generally consider myself somewhere between medium and heavy, with regard to my RP. I love random RP - please do find me in game! --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) I am a mother of 5 (and yes, my eldest children play games with us!), I work from home and I have a background in sociology and gerontology (I know a lot about old people!). We are gamers (obviously), I enjoy scuba diving, swimming, reading, music, occasionally writing creatively and gardening. We consider ourselves part time homesteaders - we have an acre sized garden along with hyrdoponically grown indoor plants. We're learning mycology (mushroom growing!) and aquaponics (hydroponics with self feeding edible tilapia).
  3. Why? What had she been thinking, taking that nap so late in the evening that now, when she ought to be sleeping and avoiding the heartless sun - she was wide awake and wandering about! In the bustle of the city, even as unusual as the albino may be, people went about their business with no mind to her presence. It was both disconcerting and comforting at the same time - so unlike her home under the mountains. In the dark city, she stood out like a sore thumb and it was part of the reason her father had so quickly 'encouraged' her to join the temple. He's practically paid them to take her, so eager had the nobleman been to get rid of his "problem child". In her trip down memory lane, Elisan had lost sight of where exactly she had been going and with a startled blink -found she'd wandered out of the main thorough fare of the island city and into the more remote areas. Lovely. It wasn't worth the effort required to draw cards, not to mention she risked incurring the wrath of her patron deity for being so frivolous with her gifts. Lost in the physical sense did not constitute a need for divine guidance and so, with a breath taken, she glanced first one way and then the other and picked a direction at random. Eventually, she'd run into someone or something that looked familiar. 'Eventually' came a short walk later when she rounded the corner to find a trio of what appeared to be hyur males huddled around a small fire. As she got closer, the scent of cooking bacon beckoned and curiosity won out over caution. The priestess was presently clad in a cowled robe of twilight hues - pale blues, purple and gold fading into one another. The shoulder length mane of shocking white was mostly covered by the hood of a lightweight cloak. On her shoulder was pinned a silver brooch in the shape of a spinning wheel. A slender, pale hand was lifted in polite greeting.
