  1. Frederyk Nightshade Fifth Umbral Moon, 19 (Age 23) Midlander Hyur Master of Disguise, Indulger of Intrigue Frederyk is approximately 65 inches high with long red hairand dark green eyes. It is difficult topin his specific mannerisms, however. Frederyk is constantly shifting his habits, environment, his circle ofacquaintances and, on occasion, even his name. What one could tell you, if they were lucky enough to observe him for afortnight, is that he takes time out of his day to revere. It is almost never the same thing, though;one day he might honour a sylphen glade, another day he might admire the craftsmanship of a goldsmith. Frederyk is a man of many walls, many protocols, and evenmore secrets. What he might tell you ishe was raised in Ul'dah, under the hospice of merchants. He will laugh as he remembers being fed wineand cheese. One comes to wonder why hewould abandon such a life of prestige and comfort. Frederyk will then claim rat rats got in thecheese and the Cataclysm smashed the bottles. One might ask him if it is always so hard to get a straight answer outof him. He will say, "I'm notsure." He will then shrug, and walkaway. The midlander has many tricks up his sleeve, even as hemoves up in the ranks of pugilism. Whencalled to do so, he may shift his voice as high as a female's mid-soprano, and as low as a male's deep tenor. A maskand robes make him seem a lovely woman, and a helmet with a guard's uniform can ensure that information and duty will pass "safely." In the area of romance, Mr. Nightshade will claim he is asolid and lifelong bachelor. It isharder for him to tell males this, however. As guarded as Frederyk is, he will admit he has fondness for males asopposed to females. The subject ofcommitment is an entirely different matter. More to come on this character.
  2. I was gonna cover it tonight in forum RP! I was... QUIT GIGGLING, ASKIER. MY DIRT SANDWICH WASN'T THAT BAD. I somehow doubt that. It's okay, though. I am here to keep you humble. You're welcome.
  3. Alright, LIMPY. I notice how you failed to post *that* little tidbit. Mykaul is being switched out for Lek'si from here on, just as an update.
  4. Curiosity Mykaul stares at the cheap alembic with a tilted head. Such an odd device can truly produce toxins and cures alike? His curious mind races as he examines the object. The Duskwight grew excited by the prospect of practicing such an esoteric art. Answers of cause and effect could be a focus for his wandering mind. Mayhaps he might even become a more able healer. That focus might very well divert Kahn'a's ire. Mykaul sighs. He knows he has many questions. Questions the Miqo'te cannot and will not answer. He delves into the craft, easing his mind.
  5. The Duskwight clenches his orders in a fist to keep his hands from shaking. "You want me to go where?" The commanding officer's word fall over deaf ears as his mind races. Mor Dhona. The Revenant's Toll. Mykaul feels his breath shortening with stifled emotions. "I... I see," he says, his own voice a foggy murmur. Turning on a heel, the acolyte of White walks out of the Adder's Nest. Not since the Calamity first struck. Since he lost one he might have loved. He takes a seat in the grass as he silently allows his panic to pass, unnoticed.
  6. Making Peace Mykaul's pride had been injured once more. Not only had he let the treasonous villains escape, but he felt like the last to know about... any of this! He grimaces at his thoughts. They are eating at him. Kahn'a's words come to mind. "Be. At. Peace." He takes a breath. He had called upon Mykaul. Wasn't that what mattered? If secrets were the price he had to pay to accept Kahn'a as he was, then that was how he would take the Miqo'te. Nothing was worth losing the joy he felt, or even the pain. He nods.
  7. Relief Mykaul was on his way up to Coerthas on a diplomatic engagement. Draumond had made good time, however. He could afford a few moments to check in on one he loves. As he gazes upon Jintran'to's sleeping body, tears form in his eyes. Seeing the man so broken had broken the Duskwight as well. The thought of how much worse things would have been if Mykaul had been only a bell later in finding him... Mykaul blinks his tears away. He did arrive in time. The sleeping Miqo'te was safely on the mend. All is well, he knows.
  8. The Earth's Siren Song The Duskwight wipes away sweat with his dusty glove. He scans the Western Thanalan area, eyes trained to hone in upon deposits. His connection with the natural elements increases his instincts, the very earth itself seeming to hum a melody. Though he can truly Hear the winds, the earth's voice is continuous groan. Few are blessed to even Hear one element,so he is grateful for that much, at least. He listens closer. There, to the south-southwest. He smiles and as he walks over, careful to avoid attention of predators. He silently thanks the earth.
  9. Hands-Off Healing Mykaul squints in challenge at the disturbance hanging in the air. A toxin that would spread through the Twelveswood if left unchecked. His shoulder-length hair blows in the breeze as he draws upon the purer forces of nature. The Duskwight slowly brings his arms up, the wind picking up speed with each micro-movement. Together, man and nature cast out the corrupted elemental. A smile spreads across his face as he Hears the cries of joy. "You are welcome, my friends. And I thank you for your gifts as well." With this, he turns to summon Draumond for home.
  10. (("Drabble -- A drabble is an extremely short work of fiction of exactly one hundred words in length, not necessarily including the title. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in an extremely confined space." I pretty much just write whatever comes to mind with the different prompts I receive. They are in no particular time order. Sometimes I'll write about his past, sometimes it's more current. They're a lot of fun, though, and I really like the struggle of staying at exactly 100 words and keeping it interesting. Got this idea from a friend, so here we go~!))
  11. I would join, if this was on Balmung ^^
  12. Hello, I play Mykaul Valeroyant (Free Company: Bastion) and I am seeking a mature homosexual relationship in a roleplaying setting (ERP is *entirely* optional!). Mykaul is an orphaned Duskwight who grew up dodging the dangers of Mor Dhona early in life and he was a guard in Revenant's Toll during his adolescence. He is socially awkward at times, but his heart is usually in the right place. He is someone who seeks to protect the weak and at times he will extend to others more than he truly possesses. If you play a male character (any race except Lalafell. Sorry, just a personal preference ^^) and this character sounds like he might be a good addition to your character's story, send me a message or a /tell in game. Thank you for your time.
