What's up guys? I'm new-ish to ARR, I've spent a couple months with it on and off and I'd like to start playing more, as well as maybe find opportunities to RP in a group or otherwise.
--MMORPG background
I tried WoW some time ago for a couple months but really didn't dig into it.
--RP experience
No formal in-game RP experience but I'm largely familiar with the format for the most part.
--Character ideas/info
Patch Thursday is a Midlander sellsword who spent a large portion of time with a small band of adventurers, until they were scattered by the Dalamud catastrophe and their memories largely lost. Now, with little to his name he resides in Ul'dah making modest coin, doing odd jobs and scraping to get by. His original purpose and only real family forgotten, he bides his time hoping to one day piece together the past and track down his old companions-- if they survived.
--How did you learn about the coalition?
Honestly I just stumbled across it looking into the RP aspect having just recently joined Balmung.
--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
Mostly light-to-medium, I'm not incredibly elaborate with lore but nothing obviously too derivative or lore-breaking. That being said I'd love to find a cool group of people to do some adventuring with as well as be a part of a more in-depth RP.
--Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc
I'm in a band and also have a part-time job so my hours are kind of fluid but I'm fully willing to spare the time to get into this.
