I. Basic Info Characters: Saikha'to Rhys, Marielle Desjardins Primary character: Saikha'to Rhys Linkshells: None yet Primary RP linkshell: None yet [*] II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Mostly medium to heavy I would say, though I am more used to Open RP's than scripted scenarios. Heck I find myself just RPing by myself a lot of times, adding background flavor for others as they run on by. I post as much as I'm given to work with, if the posts are short then usually mine become short as well. If they are long, then mine will be longer, though multi paragraphs can be a bit of a stretch for me. More used to semi para and para. Also, I try to inject humor in my posts rather regularly, through my characters thoughts, observations, and actions. Saikha'to is not a buffoon or crazy jokester, but my own sense of humor will most likely assert itself in one way or another. Views on RP combat and injuries: Not all that versed with RP combat, though I don't mind injuries as long as they are not too severe and could be hashed out somewhat OOC beforehand. Battered, bruised, maybe even limping and a broken rib or two is fine. However not so keen on things like disfigurement, permanent crippling, or death. However Saikha'to is not really a violent person so hopefully he wouldn't find himself in a situation where this might come up. Views on IC romance: Perfectly fine with RP romance. Saikha'to's not exactly on the prowl, but if things happen, they happen. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Not sure on how I feel about this yet. He does have two older sisters and an older brother, the two younger twin sisters are only 8 though. For now I think I'll avoid having his other family come in, though that may change down the line. Views on lore: I'm not well versed in the lore, but I try to RP in a way that wouldn't break it? I guess that's the best way to describe it. And if I happen to do break lore please let me know as it wouldn't be intentional. No giant moogle mechs...though that would be awesome...>__> And no interdimensional battles between moogles and quaggans, which would be super awesome.....<__< Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I'm fine with RP in various chat functions. I realize that not all RP should be public. I'm used to (( )) representing OOC in /say, though if it's in linkshell or tell or party it depends on the situation whether it is IC or OOC. Very interesting, I have a couple questions since I need to make a way for Saikha'to to show up but get in unintentionally. Would there have been invitations, and if so were they specifically to individuals or were they more general hand outs? If that's the case I could have him find one, maybe even with a case of mistaken identity if the invitation was to someone specific. If it is just open to everyone then I can perhaps just have him ushered along into the event before he even realizes what he's getting himself into. Oh, also, can guests wear masks too, or is it just the dates?

Hello, What to say...what to say... While I have experience in RP in forms like chat and games, I mostly stayed away from forums that organized RP, such as this one, so forgive me if I am not the most eloquent. Currently I am am playing another MMO, and if my squishy blue avatar in a box is not familiar to you, it is Guild Wars 2. I am not looking to leave GW2 but FF14 finally came out for PS4 and I wanted to experience the RP there, so I would kind of be splitting my time. I've already made my main character, a male Miqo'te, on both Balmung and Gilgamesh to see what the RP is like, though him being an Archer means he's in Gridania, which from what I've initially seen, is the lightest RP of the cities, but maybe I'm wrong. I've also made a female Elezen on Balmung to get an idea of what Ul'dah is like. I still need to see how Limsa Lominsa looks, most likely with a Hyur on Gilgamesh. What I am more worried about with FF14 is that while I am experienced with MMO's through GW2, that game is a lot more solo friendly with less reliance on the "holy trinity". So while I may be a good rper, I am afraid I'll be a bit of a noob when it comes to being out in combat, so I figured I should give fair warning. I am also not looking to power level, at least right now I am not, hoping to go at a more casual pace. Main Character Knowing only a bit about the races so far, I decided to go with a Keeper of the Moon, though I tried to follow proper naming techniques, calling him Saikha'to Rhys. Being a Keeper of the Moon he is the second son in a family with one older brother, two older sisters, himself, then a his two little twin sisters. I hope I haven't made his immediate family too large, as I am unsure of proper Miqo'te family sizes. He's 18 and he loves his family, but he had to get away for a while as his brother had advised him. Being in a matriarchal society plus having twin sisters 10 years younger than him has started to wear on his back, with pushy demands for constant "Chocobo Rides" and whatever else their privileged little minds could come up with. And that's pretty much all I've got for him. I plan him on being friendly, and of course a bit catlike, but not nyaning all over the place, just maybe a little curious with little ticks like ear twitches and the like. I think he'll also be a bit of an introvert, one of those awkward at first types but is friendly enough once you get through his hard outer candy shell. Almost like me! Other Characters....? As for other characters, while I have my Elezen on Balmung, named Marielle Desjardins, I am not sure if I will make a character for her, perhaps maybe a bit of a tomboyish Elezen, since they are supposed to be all noble and elegant and she is a pugilist right now, though she knows how to clean up and fake it when called on. In fact I am not sure if this game is really all that accommodating for multiple characters. I haven't played much of this game, but it is starting to seem like that is not the case here. How difficult would it be to juggle multiple characters? Well I think I've rambled on enough. I hope it was alright, like I mentioned, not the best with forums. Ryse
