Ah, I did not know there was more to this website than what I've already gone and done. Apologies for that! I've gone ahead and filled out the form for the venue and since the event is so close there's no real point in adding it to the calendar now so I'll just leave it as it is! Thank you for your help!

"Well, at least it's somethin' to try and increase the profits bein' made here.." ___ Hey there! This may be a bit sudden but we wanted to try our hand at something a little public! We'll be hosting an open night on Friday the 29th at around 8pm UK time. This is just to try and encourage some of our members who may be too shy to interact with each other yet as well as make some new out of FC connections. Naturally this event is open to everyone who would like to stop by for a change of scenery. I hope to see you there!

Just a quick update on the house! We made our house, it's up and running for the most part. As mentioned, the theme of this house is an inn and the upper floor holds as a reception whilst the basement is a general seating area and bar. There is still more to come, of course! The private rooms are going to be a mix of members personal rooms as well as additional rooms for the inn itself such as a spa, medical room, general guest rooms for both RP'ers who are not part of the FC and those who are. Nice to meet you![/align] [align=center]Moving on![/align] Roaming Roleplayers was created from a concept seen several times before in other MMO's wherein the FC itself isn't for roleplayer purposes, more of a social hub where roleplayers can join and leave as they please on their mains, alts, whatever. The idea being that you can put yourself out there as a roleplayer and be in a guild of other roleplayers but without the commitments required by other RP FC's. With this I mean RP FC's host their events and require its members to show up and play along with the story, which is of course perfectly fine, but not everyone has the time available to commit to these events and some FC's find this unacceptable. Essentially, we offer you the RP tag beside your name and a social hub you can talk away as you please or keep to yourself, it's entirely up to you. ______________________________________________________________________________ We're currently working on putting a house together which is welcome to be used for RP. The theme behind the FC house would be that of an inn. Travelers who find themselves in need of a place to rest their heads for the night or just a place to get out of the weather. The inn theme fits perfectly with this guild as it is the sort of place that is open to anyone and everyone, even those outside of the FC would be welcome to drop by as social events has been discussed within the FC. ______________________________________________________________________________ Naturally, with all FC's, there are rules. Just your standard rules such as no harassing other members, no public ERP and so on. It's all common sense, really. This FC will always be open to anyone and members may come and go as they please. Well first of all, thank you for the replies. Has been nice to see the response, probably should have replied sooner though, sorry! With the Thaumaturge guild being based in Ul'dah I guess it'd make more sense to have Ellis based in that general area even though I do love making my characters go places so I'm definitely not opposed to making him move elsewhere for RP but for the topics sake I'll make Ul'dah the main area! On the part of the Mysterium then that sounds like a great idea and I'll see about getting around to that in-game (I hate just popping up on people) though I'll need to have a quick look at the magic in this game though from what I gather it's just more or less the same as any other with arcane manipulation being the base. And lastly for Nako'li and Zmun, yes, just yes. Hope to see you in-game! Thanks again. ^^

Just figured I'd have a go at actually speaking out the fact that I'm actively searching for RP! (Because I can be shy) I'm generally open for all types of RP but as the subject slightly hints at, I love magic based RP. For most of the time I've spent RP'ing over the years my characters are mostly always magical based in the ways of arcanists, pyromancers and so on. Seeing as Ellis is currently my only character on FFXIV I'd like to get more into playing him as I've only done a little bit so far! This doesn't mean to say that I don't welcome general RP since that opens it up to many others, just figured it'd give my post a heading that may catch others with similar interests. I'm not good at making these lengthy so that's all I have to say! Cheers!

Not sure how I managed to make a mess of the post but rest assured I found a way! It's readable to some degree!

I. Basic Info Characters: Ellis Bloodfenrir Primary character: Ellis Bloodfenrir Linkshells: - Primary RP linkshell: - II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I'm quite literally up for all of the above though with a preference of at least medium just so it's more regular and involving. Views on RP combat and injuries: Combat RP is a very questionable subject since from experience players will never want their characters to lose which in some way is understandable but I like to have a more realistic setting so I view my character as strong but is by no means invincible. Injuries and the like are enjoyable in RP, giving wounds time to mend and so on. ^^ Views on IC romance: IC romance is mostly pleasant but there's always the odd twist and turns. I enjoy it most of the time but so long as it's more thought out. ^^ Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Non-romantic RP in the sense of family ties is something I've never actually given a proper go at since my character relations are normally also played by myself but it'd certainly be something I'd be up for trying. Views on lore: I try and stick to lore as much as possible in games though when it comes to FFXIV I'm still learning. ^^ Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I normally RP in /say and I don't mind the odd running around doing OOC stuff in /say either.
