I am happy they are redoing the series but I am more happy that they aren't abandoning the old one. No matter how great the new one is, I grew up with the old one. Either way, a remake AND reboot = double winning!

I heard a rumor about how steering clear of some cave in the upper Limsa Lominsa area that is REALLY popular for ERP on Gilgamesh. Like Goldshire in WOW, sometimes these things tend to be consistent from server to server but more than likely vary in "intensity". I have also heard rumors about people using PF for ERP groups. However I don't really know of any single place that matches in infamy with Goldshire. Which is great for people like me who like to RP outside of the towns.

Yo! I play Qulala Qula on Gilgamesh. I have RP'd in game before but I seem to have trouble finding people to RP with. I am not able to commit to a FC do to my student schedule which means my account has large spans of activity followed by a month or so of being offline. I saw this website and realize this is the next best way for me to connect to fellow RPers, even when inactive during finales. Anyways, I love to RP! Almost anytime I am online, I am ready to RP at a drop of a hat. Here are some interaction points for me: * Walk up RP is welcomed! ** Seriously, drop me a friend request so you can see when I am online and what my status is. *** I try to keep my status updated regularly * If you walked up to a stranger IRL and started talking, they would think you were crazy. My character would too. * My character is not a barfly. I will meet people for RP in the obvious places like the Drowning Wench but I myself get bored waiting around in cities. Your more than likely to encounter me in one of the smaller towns or fields. * I absolutely 100% will not ERP. I don't care one way or another that other people do but I myself don't. I realize that there are more guild only RP groups and events than open ones but I am really looking forward to playing and interacting with all of you!

My character is proficient in combat to the limit of defense as a common adventure but by no means is she some sort or mercenary or warrior. Views on IC romance: As a college student, I am not available enough for longer term romantic plots in story lines. However, if you needed me for something short in a story plot that span over s few weeks, then I should be able to work with it provided the details are worked out in advance. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): As stated in the above point, I am not available for long term story lines. If the role is a more casual one that allows me to be gone up to two months, than I am more than willing to work something out. Views on lore: My RP style is "lore by law." First and foremost, I try to always acknowledge and relate with the current events of the game. My character's story in set in the universe of this game. While I am free to do with it as I wish, I still obey the parameters set by the universe. While my current character is more lax in her involvement in lore, I still never do anything that would goes against lore. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): /say for public FTJ RP, /linkshell for general or broad RP or OOC )depending on the type of LS, /party for private group RP, /tell for OOC, and /blacklist for ERPing because I don't ERP.
