I love storytelling and the interaction one can obtain with RP that just is not quite the same any other way.
Plus I've found from prior pen-and-paper RP that I can meet a wide variety of fascinating individuals with similar interests.

While I will eventually go for heavy RP, I have no experience with RP in an MMO. So, I will probably start casual.

Absolutely, and skill based for sure.

So long as it goes with a compelling and involved story, indeed.

Probably heroic circumstance or something truly pivotal.

Family ties would be intriguing, but to start probably good friendships / rivalries.

I prefer to stay as close to lore as possible barring common-sense judgement calls and reasonable explanations.
--Views on chat functions (IC vs OOC in /party, /linkshell, /say)?
When IC, /Say it like your character means it, /Tell if they are within whispering range, /Party if whispering to multiple people and /linkshell if those in it are cool with IC chat. OOC should be kept to /Tell with OOC punctuation and/or /linkshell if that is how it rolls.
--Will most of your RP be confined in a single linkshell or will you try to RP with as many as possible?
