Evening, or morning I suppose; whatever time it happens to be when you read this. I'm in Japan and it's almost midnight so... Evening!! I have been playing 14 for a few months now with my husband over on Gungnir and had a blast. I said had because, well, I've hit a wall because raids are not my thing and with a lull in the main story I was a little lost at what to do. Until I thought of RP. So here I am with an alt on Balmung ready to jump in. Or at least that's what I am telling myself , but I'm super shy and leaving hubs and all my friends on Gungnir has left me feeling a little lonely. Help!! --MMORPG background lol, no. ARR is my first, and only with some teeth pulling by my husband to get me to play. But since I actually sat down and started playing I've actually enjoyed it. Oh, I should probably note I am playing on the PS3 which is laggy to begin with, and connecting to a NA server, geez. --RP experience I have casually RP'd with friends on and off for years, but never something serious. I hope to possibly change that. --Character ideas/info Ha, yes, well. /clears throat Um, all it took was for me to even think about the possibility of RPing and the writer in me dove way ahead. I started the wiki for Phecda but I don't even know if I am doing this right. What's too much backstory, what's too little? Have I tied her down too much or not. Advice would be greatly appreciated. --How did you learn about the coalition? Reddit, probably. --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? Medium? Does that mean like middle ground? Or heavy since this is an alt and all I plan to do with her is RP? Or light because I am a new mom and who knows how much time I'll have realistically between my daughter and my main? A little of everything I guess. --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) I'm still on maternity leave from work until the end of the month so my days are very open right now. (So night over in the States) I live in Japan and um... I like anime and RPGs in general. I'm a stupidly huge baseball fan. I hate talking about myself, I'm not that good at it. Er, I enjoy writing like I said before. Yeah, that's about it. [ I've been watching my main do the bomb dance in Limsa for the past hour. Help me get to 15 so I can get this adorable dance on my alt too!! ]

Views on RP combat and injuries: I guess I'm ok with it as long as no one is losing body parts or dying. Lasting injuries are ok, since I kind of expect such things. Views on IC romance: Totally fine. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Would be kind of lonely otherwise, wouldn't it?
