Heya, I've decided that I really, really want to get myself stuck into this game but I can't if I'm feeling alone/playing alone. It's my downfall in every MMO, I can't stick to them if I'm mostly playing solo. I used to play WoW a few years ago just for the RP aspect with it with a close group of friends I met online and as we drifted I couldn't stand to log into it anymore. Ever since then I've not really been able to stick with an MMO, 'end game' doesn't appeal to me too much, it's the RP community and friends I make in the game that make me stick with it. And so far (Only level 10) ffxiv seems to have a pretty amazing community(Balmung) and a perfect and beautiful world for RP. So! Any EU friendly linkshells out there looking for more members? If any of that made sense.

I'm hoping to find a FC with quite a large EU timezone, even if I can't attend the Events, I'd be happy to just meet some new people/new friends to have casual RP with all over the games world.

Is server transferring stupidly expensive? Tempted to just join another server for now and then move over at a higher level

Gah! Balmung isn't accepting any new players, is this common and does it get lifted often? I'll just save my appearance and wait until tomorrow afternoon (Uk afternoon) and hopefully get an opening
