I. Basic Info Character: Yuyushuu Yusha Linkshells: None yet Primary RP linkshell: None yet [*] II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I prefer Medium to heavy, I'm not overly picky, but I can get pretty carried away with how in character I get when I'm really into something. Views on RP combat and injuries: I don't mind RP Combat and I do semi-like RP Injuries. It isn't a primary thing for me when I'm roleplaying, but I won't avoid it if it comes up in any way. Views on IC romance: I like to think that characters have their own feeligns, and if something happens between them, then it should. I enjoy romance more than RP fighting and the like, but I don't like it when it's very forced, like when two characters have known each other for a few hours and suddenly are soul-mates. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Again, I feel that my character is a living-breathing thing, so what can happen can happen. This is one I have a bit less experience with however, I'd be willing to give it a go, and for the most part, wouldn't mind to see where it goes? Views on lore: I'm fairly close to the "Lore is Law" camp here, but only in the aspect of the known and world-lore. I don't believe that the storyline in game as it goes for your character is a necessity to include in RP, I often don't like to think of my character as some special saviour of the world, I'm not very good at RPing that way.. But I do think the history of the world and locals are important to keep everything together. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I prefer my RPing in say and emote channel, while Linkshell/Fc/etc is OOC, I have trouble with those mediums. I also don't mind PM/messenger RP, but it's not ideal, I like to RP within the game itself. [*] III. ...while I'm stick in Error 3102 purgatory! I originally had planned on RPing in FFXIV back in 1.0 but after I bought the game i found that my old computer couldn't run it.. By the time I got a new PC FFXIV was already in the death days so I kinda missed out on it all, however now that 2.0 is (almost) here, it's time for a take two. I'm originally from FFXI from years back, I played since the release on the Fairy server by the name of Jolatola. I played pretty solidly until the last few updates since Abyssea kinda made the game feel more and more boring, along with most of the people I know disappearing. I've played and RPed in plenty of other MMOs, but the Final Fantasy ones were always my favorite. I'm FFXIV I'm on the Balmung server under the name of Yuyushuu Yusha, I haven't really decided on what I'm going to play as for a job, but I suppose I'll figure it out while I go. Anyway, it's nice to meet you all, and hopefully all these server issues will be settled soon!

Hello~ I've recently decided to give FFXIV another shot since I've gotten a new computer that will actually run it without getting hotter than the surface of the sun. I played way back when the game first came out, but didn't make it much past the first free month, so this game will probably be all new to me again. I've been an avid Roleplayer for ages, in both MMOs, and text based games, so I might as well make the jump into it in FFXIV as well. I used to play FFXI under the same name, on the Fairy server (Sylph after the merging awhile back), but I got bored of Abyssea pretty quick and finally hung up my hat on the game after playing it nearly religiously since the launch. I've not really decided on how I will RP in FFXIV, beyond the fact I'm nearly positive I'll be staying as a Lalafell, and the same character I had in FFXI to a small extent. However in honesty, RPing won't be a right-away thing for me, since I really need to learn how to play the game again, I don't remember how to do things or level efficiently. Either way, I think this will be a fun experience, and I'm looking forward to seeing the changes they've made so far, and the changes yet to come~ ^^
