Lol by this it seems like i should just go by age and forget the dates.

Hey all, Sierra here with a few questions to get started in writing this backstory for my character. Alright so something i raised a topic in Uldah shout chat about what the current date was, i'm trying to figure out a proper date for my character's backstory so i can finally write this thing after about a year of tinkering. Anyways, one of the things that came to mind was trying to figure out what year/era it would have been 19 years ago so i can begin. According to a few people its currently the eighth umbral era? this is what confuses me because after reading this:http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/61230-An-Eorzean-Timeline. I'm unable to distinguish what actual year Sierra would have been born in which would be crucial to the story i have planned. I'll be posting a few more things in regards to idea's about what im doing with her and asking questions on such things in the future but i'd like some input here, what would that date have been and up till now what years/eras would she have lived through? Alright, so here is a subject i see alot of but for my own curiosity. what type of romance do each of you enjoy? i know this is rather vague, but that is the entire point of this topic! RP or out of game, it matters not. if you're comfortable with sharing, feel free! I'm quite a fan of story lines in which a character meets another and starts out as friends but some where along the lines one of the two starts feeling something for the other, further into the story however something tragic may happen or one of the two may get hurt. its at that point that the character admits their feelings to the other and the romantic portion of the story begins. (Edited to be more in depth.)

Well yeah.. RNG involved in a healer class is a bit of a pain, there are other ways it could have been done. though as i stated, some RNG is fine. just this personally feels rediculas. That's not... really what I asked? I main a WHM. I'm aware of RNG with healing classes as a whole. What I was asking was; if the RNG was still pretty wonky on AST, as live-letters and patches were mentioned to have helped some; in comparison to what the RNG problems were before. I guess i indirectly answered that, to take the statement i had put there and give a direct answer it would be. Yes, Astrologian cards are still unbalanced.

Hiya! Sierra here with some.. sad humor. Alright so, lets.. talk about something here, RNG is nice to use for a healer at times ill give you that. However, i seem to see alot of people having issues pulling the "Balance" card from their deck. oddly enough, i seem to have the opposite issue. every single card i draw is the "Balance" card and nothing more, either its a stroke of luck or i am cursed for never seeming to be able to draw the card required to get the AOE buff. I think SE needs to uh.. Balance, the card deck for the astrologian.

Here i am running Steps of Faith with a duty finder group, this was the result. two gates before the end of the entire run, we took out Vishap during the second burn phase.

Hello all, Sierra Nulah here. Many of you might have once known me by either of the following names: Leummi Vrae, L'koliwe Khai, Avira Alae, Zaia Tesli, or Azami Arai. In this case, i know alot of the reasons i am known is not for good reasons. but for reasons that had stemmed from my first FC on Balmung nearly one year ago. situations that had grown out of control to a point that i got defensive and started causing alot of drama that i am fully aware of but NOT proud of at all. Why am i coming here to apologize? well because this is where anyone can see it and i am not afraid to announce who i am, i came here to inform all of those who will read this even if i have done nothing wrong to you. that i am sorry for how things have turned out over the past year and that i am doing my best now to change things, maybe this post will be taken down. but i still would like to try. I've tried to rename my characters enough times to attempt to start over, but that was only running from issues i had started. now i am hoping to come to a resolution for alot of them, knowing not all of the people that i had caused drama or issues with will be willing to do so.
