A Stage Reborn

A Stage Reborn would like your input regarding Final Fantasy XIV location and community participation! A Stage Reborn is a registered nonprofit that aims to provide an arts experience through transformative works to communities. Many of our projects take place in a game environment, such as Final Fantasy XIV. Considering the life-cycle of online games like this one, our organization wants to make sure live programs are based in the community where participation is most feasible and sustainable in the long run. We would like your input to determine where those most interested in volunteer participating (not audience attendance) in our live activities (theatrical productions, live events and large-scale projects) exist. Note: We do have team members on multiple servers, including Balmung. Our activities are not FC-based either. Server lock is not as great a concern to us as ensuring long-term availability of participants for our activities. Update: We have had a massive turn out for our first weekend! We look forward to seeing folks next weekend, too! (10.23.16) A structure, LUNATIC PANDORA, has fallen into the hands of A Stage Reborn. While they were able to get their hands on the property, it turned out to have a problematic haunting left behind by previous tenants. This October, A Stage Reborn is cutting the locks on the doors, seeking adventurers to journey into its depths and assess the threat. Enter at your own peril, adventurers! A Stage Reborn is hosting a haunted house on the Diabolos Server starting Friday October 21st, complete with several rooms, actors, and gimmicks therein. Although we're located on the Diabolos server, Mist is a short walk away from Limsa for any and all new adventurers who want the opportunity to see what's behind the doors! This event is open and free to the entire community. Updated 12/11/2016 A Stage Reborn opens all venue doors on Diabolos to any visitors, role-players or not. We pride ourselves in having a wide variety of in-game entertainment areas free and open for public use. Below is our list of areas which I will update from time to time. All plots listed here are controlled by the A Stage Reborn organization in our official "village" on the server: The Lavender Beds 8th Ward 11 - Jump Maze / Obstacle Course (Currently Portal themed!) 13 - Host Club / TBD 14 - Restaurant 16 - Directors' Home / TBD 17 - Garden Shop / Speakeasy (Under Construction) 22 - Actors' Retreat (Under Re-construction) 24 - Live Studio (Under Re-construction) 27 - Medium Stage & Bar (Upstairs) 28 - Mainstage Theater (Large Production Set) 29 - Lounge & Themed Rooms (tea Room, library, studies, and more!) 30 - Seasonal Event House (Changes each season.) If you'd like, free company invites are open to all players so you don't need to make your alt in Gridania and travel, you just have to unlock teleporting. We can definitely use all hands on deck! I literally just got Stage Reborn up on Balmung post-3.3 during the login rush (restriction was lifted.) I have a few supportive folks so far and a couple on our Board members that may be making Alts or transferring Alts over as well, so we're looking forward to doing something great! You're also free to check out our main location on Diabolos if you want to make an alt on the Primal data center. Our in-game locations are listed under the "Diabolos Theater" tab. A Stage Reborn A 501c3 Nonprofit for the arts - and we're on FFXIV! A Stage Reborn started as a community project based out of Final Fantasy XIV to encourage more players to use games as a creative outlet for the arts. We hosted non-role-playing costume contests, skits and later full-scale theatrical productions. With a team of arts professionals, lawyers, IT enthusiasts and life-long gamers, we pushed to get more people to recognize the power of interactive digital media (like MMOs) to leverage the arts experience in a world where access to the arts can be strained. Many of our activities started on Final Fantasy XIV and have been based out of the Diabolos (Primal) server where we use housing, glamour and crafting to create activities to teach others about the arts while gaming in the comfort of their own home. All of our activities are free and open to the public so you never have to worry about grabbing show tickets like you do on Broadway - just make sure to get in early to get a good seat! You can view some of the live arts in games projects we have done here! The organization itself is also a proponent or the content creator community in gaming and often supports and collaborates with others such as The Crucible, MuseCastXIV, and GamerEscape. In 2017 we debuted charitable collaboration activities by participating in GamerEscape's Extra Life Content Creator Team where we all worked to raise money for Children's Miracle Network hospitals through a livestream marathon. So why should you care about A Stage Reborn? From providing opportunity to experience the arts in gaming to supporting the creative endeavors of the public, A Stage Reborn is here to connect the community and provide opportunities to a community we hold dear.
