[Open for all] .:A New Beginning:. [[-Pangur B'an-]]

Sandal-clan feet moved across the hard sunbaked earth as a figure covered in a heavy canvas cloak walked. Deliberately dyed grayish white to keep the sun from cooking the wearer alive as they ventured through the Sagolii's ungodly heat. "Not too far now...Not far at all." She wheezed as she kept moving. The spires and rearing figures of colorful terracotta buildings just ahead lured her on. The sun was beginning to set- Thank Menphina!!- Maybe she'd get a merciful reprieve from this Godsdamned sun! She couldn't fathom how the Sun-cats could handle such a fiery star they revered so much.

A bead of sweat trickled down the bridge of her nose; making the pores burn and sting in an irritating manner. A hand lifted; wiping it away quickly as she kept moving. It was times like now; she was thankful she had learned how to summon and send away her various instruments. Lugging them about would be painstakingly difficult.

Stopping; slowly the cloaked figure's head lifted and stared at the steps that lead up to the city gate. "They are not kind..." she chuckled, despite disliking it she kept a good humor about the whole situation. That had always been Pangur B'an's way.

Managing to wander up the steps to the city gate she slowed; noticing the Flame guards that were posted just outside. They gave the figure a good hawklike stare as she passed- she must have seemed harmless, they didn't stop her.

Upon entering the city gate, pale hands lifted and slowly lowered her hood as pale bi-colored eyes stared in awe at her new surroundings. It was colorful, vibrant, bright, and busy! Even in the evening.  Ul'Dah truly was as dazzling as the rumors said. It was a gem. Pangur had to shake herself a bit and pull herself out of her daze. Brushing a couple of her snowy white dreadlocks away from her face she grinned. Exposing her canines as the Keeper shuffled forwards.

Looking about, she moved down the cobbled street carefully. As if taking the wrong step might make the mirage dissipate.  She studied the vendors crying out to sell their wares to passers-by before they'd have to pack it in and go home. She spied people of all races moving and milling about performing their evening errands and jobs. She could smell the rich spicy scents of food cooking and she groaned.

"This is amazing!!!"

She picked up her pace; entering the Quicksand her eyes widened. If she thought the streets were busy, this Tavern/Inn was even busier! So many people crammed in one place talking, laughing, and drinking. Her shoulders rolled and she let her cloak slide away. Exposing her clothes underneath. The taffeta top had a hood of it's own of a rich blue-green. The halter-like top covering her chest let her navel be exposed to the open air. Her pale milky flesh a stark contrast in comparison to the rich pigment of her clothing. Her sarouels cinched just below the knees, exposing the grayish leather throngs from her sandals. The pants matching her top.

She wanted to jump into the thick of it! Summon one of her instruments and break into song and dance, maybe entice patrons of the Quicksand to join her. Not yet though--- She wanted to measure the "Personality" of this crowd of people. On top of that; she was exhausted from her walk from the outer rims of Eorzea and through the Sagolii desert. For now she leaned against the railing; her cloak draped beside her as she watched and waited.
