[Naming] Midlander Resource

Lately I have had a hard time branching out from the auto-generate names for Midlanders—the naming convention was tricky for me in terms of capturing the perfect medieval flavor rather than a bland one.

 

This site was so amazing for Hyur Midlander names that I wanted to post and share it. It even contains many of the NPC names you see in game, already. Maybe many of you have seen this while making your hyuran characters before, too.

 

It's a little tricky, because many of the nordic names suit Highlanders better and many of the names of French origin of course belong in Elezen naming conventions.

Makyn actually comes from older English, I was trying to look for a style of name like that and stumbled across it for the original version of him.
