Lurking in the shadows, adhering to no laws but their own, they punish the wicked, pilfering their ill-gotten gains and delivering them to the downtrodden masses. Thought by many to be mere common criminals, some would say they play an unseen hand in maintaining order in the buccaneer's haven of Limsa Lominsa.

 

The Hands of Edelweiss are a semi-secret organization within the rogue's guild of Limsa Lominsa, a creed-based cove publicly known and fronted as the convent "Dutiful Sisters of the Edelweiss". Comprised mainly of like-minded rogues, thieves, sailors and scouts from within the convent's membership, the inner-sect see themselves as the hands that strike where needed.

 

Within the city-state and beyond, they for the betterment of the world around them, whether it be in active participation or the collection of information that serves a 'greater good'. Each digit of the symbolic hand is reference to the five senses; the mastery of each a goal to strive for in escaping death. Much like the guild in which they were born of and work within, the Hands are subtle minded anarchists, vigilantes in their own right, whom have many a time have been relied upon for the reclaim of missing items, missing persons and the placement of occasional wrench in plans of corruption.

 

Whispers within the halls of the cove speak of it's existence as though it were a myth and the common rogue may go years without hearing of it's operation. However, what can be traced back through the grapevine are matched reports stating that the group was founded several cycles ago by a man known only as Amarok the Grey. It is said this enigma continues to watch over the cell from afar to this very day; only making direct contact for the most dire of circumstances.

 

Thus the congregation of Hands have no clearly defined leadership, instead acting as single unit united by shared ideals. Hands are free to go about their business within the rogue's guild and beyond, not beholden to anchors of routine with the expectation that they will act when action is needed. Always alert, ever vigilant and ready to answer the call. Hands, like the rogues, police their own and deal with betrayal swiftly and silently.

This is a linkshell based guild, that works on anonymity for those whom wish it. It is created to serve as hook provider for those whom RP within the Rogue's guild to reach out and involve others in their RP or collect information. The Hands has a strict No Metagaming rule in place. Neutral-aligned, good inclined. Currently a work in progress as things take off.
