The Platinum Vanguard

The Platinum Vanguard is always recruiting active, friendly, adult members who enjoy a mature, secure, social environment within which to play the game, roleplay, and otherwise team up with other like-minded individuals.

 

 

ICly: The Platinum Vanguard is a loose band of adventurers, craftspeople, gatherers, and other would-be heroes looking to make a difference in the world.  As such, they work closely with the Grand Companies, often taking on the tougher challenges to ensure they get done with the least loss of life.

 

 

Every member, whether a warrior, a craftsperson, or gatherer has a place and role within the Platinum Vanguard's ranks.

 

 

OOCly: The Platinum Vanguard is a laid-back, family-like mature adult Free Company on the Balmung Server.  When not attending RP events (regular social gatherings, in-character patrols, or other company-related missions), we're helping one another in whatever endeavors we please (dungeons, raids, working on relics). We have even begun bimonthly Cards Against Humanity nights where we all get together and play online while chatting in our company Discord channel!

 

 

Currently, we own a small free company house in the Lavender Beds (Ward 2, Plot 2), and we have 4 fully functional airship that bring us back many great things.

 

 

FC chat is OOC, while we have a custom linkshell for in-game communication for in-character emergencies or company-related missions.

 

 

Our website houses a forum, an event calendar, screenshot gallery, along with some other nifty features.  It is still a work in progress but coming along nicely!  It can be found here at:  http://theplatinumvanguard.gamerlaunch.com/  Since there is no in game calendar feature, we use the one on the website so we ask all of our members to register.  This way everyone can be kept in the loop!
