Balken Posted August 10, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 10, 2016 I. Basic Info Characters:Eric Rosethorn, Oran Shieldbreaker, Shaggy Olivander Primary character:Eric Rosethorn Linkshells:Pajama Party, Story Primary RP linkshell:Story [*] II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium-Heavy. It depends on how much RP I can get going and what's going on with content. I've gone from RP being what I do 24/7 when I'm logged in to it being something I only do the majority of the time. That said I can always be in character for walkups. A monster hunter is somewhat easy to make a reason to be anywhere! Views on RP combat and injuries: I adore combat RP. With people I'm less familiar with I usually talk through it OOC'ly before combat begins unless they want to use dice rolls as the randomness can add an extra spark to things on occasion. With people I'm more familiar with going along with the flow of a scene works just as well and can lend itself to some real creative scenes. Non-PC enemies usually either a dice system or moving with the flow of the scene being set up. Views on IC romance: Romance is another part of life and I find at least the thoughts of it help me flesh out characters. It's something that needs both time, reason and a lot of OOC communication to work out well and should be used to add to the RP instead of becoming the singular component of the RP. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Family is welcome. My main is a half breed, his mother a Hyur escort, so it's more than possible for siblings to be from that side of that family. Oran is a Miqote, the tenth son, so he has at least 9 elder brothers from his clan and sisters likely that can be filled. Shaggy I'm still working on, I'm not sure what ties there are to be there yet but that makes it even more open for ideas. Views on lore: Lore gives us a defined space to function in. Sure it can be bent and holes can be plugged, but those things are only meaningful if we observe the lore in the first place. So while open to the usual bending of the lore I do enjoy it not being discarded fully. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): /say /emote are just about always IC to me. /tell and /ls can be IC pending on the context. I believe /yell is used sometimes with events which I always enjoy to see so regular /say and /emote conversation can go on regularly. /party is dependent on group. [*] III.
