New to FF14, have been doing RP for 5ish years

Hello!

I go by Bella, and I'm new to ff14. I started playing about two weeks ago, as a miqote conjurer turned white mage, but at lvl 35ish switched to Rogue, where i'm now almost to 30 again.

The other day, I saw some people doing rp, and I looked into rp for the game, and was very happy to find that there is a sizable community.

 

My roleplaying experience, at least in MMO's, is mostly in Elder Scrolls Online. I played that for about two years, where I've been a part of various groups, had quite a few characters, and knew lots about the lore. I also had a few weeks of RP in SWTOR, but even though I know way too much star wars lore for my own good I just didn't enjoy the game. I've done rp on social media platforms and forums for a longer time, however. I just enjoy the engagement of doing RP within a game even more.

As for ff14, i'm absolutely in love with the game so far, so much of it is adorable and there's so many references and jokes i'm giggling the whole time I play.

 

Unfortunately I don't really know much lore, besides what I've seen in game, but I definitely would like to get into rp and learn the particulars of this game's community.

When I saw you were an experienced RPer but new to FF14, I thought it'd be nice to RP together since we're in the same boat. I'm in a pretty identical situation, just my previous RP games are different! Then I saw what server you're on and was sort of bummed out by it since I'm on Balmung. In any case, hope you enjoy your stay and find some people to RP with
