New to FFXIV RP Hoping to Get Started

Hello everyone!

 

About time I've made this post. Been a potential RPer for quite some time now, and have finally decided to take the leap and join the community. Although I've been playing for a few years now, FFXIV is my first Final Fantasy game. I first joined near the end of Heavenwards, and have been actively playing the game ever since. I have played a few other Final Fantasy games, such as XV and Tactics, but that is the extend of my Final Fantasy experience.

I am a Veteran RPer, and have played across a wide variety of games, along with a few forum RP sites in the past. However, I haven't done any RP in FFXIV as of yet. I've eavesdropped on a few conversations in the Quicksand, but have yet to put myself out there yet.

 

The character I'm planing on playing is my Miqo'te, G'lhid Tia. His story is still a bit of a work in progress, but I'm always happy to hear suggestions and ideas. At the moment, my Free Company slot is taken, but I have plenty of room for linkshells. If there's anything I should know before I get started, or if there are any suggestions for my character, feel free to let me know.
