Roegadyn Pugilist?

Any other Roegadyn pugilist (monks) out there? Just wondering if any other Roegadyns will be will travel the road of tough training and hard work? To become champions of the front lines?

I'm splitting the available jobs between two characters.

 

My first character is going to be a super delicate Miqo'te, so he'll be taking the magic based and ranged classes.

 

My other character will be a Roegadyn who's going to take the in your face melee style classes. So, she'll definitely have Pugilist going for her as well.

Piracy is bad, but she still has that love of fighting and aventure from her pirate  ancestors so she'll have travelled to Ul'dah for some good brawling fun.

Roegadyn Guardian here. Though I must say that I had to convince myself not to roll a Pugilist. Very cool combination.

Scarlet will~ those gorgeous, large fists aren't just for looking at C: Although more IC speaking, she'll be a Marauder. But I can't give up a job that punches things, it just sounds so appealing.

Part of me really wants to with my Roegadyn but it would make more sense with the character to have her focus be magic.

I play a Roeg pugilist. ICly he used to be a lancer who worked as a harpooner on whaling ships, volunteered to help fight the Garlean empire, and ended up so traumatized by the calamity he can't bring himself to pick up a spear again. So what's a guy to do when he's only really good at stabbing things? He starts making a living punching things.
