Wow Refugee looking for Rp guidance

Hello guys! So to start, I am brand new to ffxiv, my partner and I just recently came to the game from World of Warcraft and started leveling characters. The two of us are very fond of rp and have no clue where to start when it comes to the new game though we are looking forward to enjoying the rp experience the game has to offer. Any and all help regarding lore, potential character ideas, or game advice in general would be greatly appreciated as this is all new to us!
