How did your character acquire their job stone?

I'm wanting my character to be a DRK, but I'm having a lot of writer's block on how he could come in contact with a job stone since they don't really have an established guild.

How did your character come into contact with their job stone if you're playing a job that's generally not a job that stones are easy to come by? (Looking at you, MCH)

Plenty of ways to get job stones, though my characters *if they had one* probably stole it.  The DRK job stone, since up until recently they were considered outlawed in Ishgard, your best bet is to have either found it in contraband items or had it passed down in some way.

You helped me figure things out. Finding it as contraband worked really well, since he was already in hiding and would need to keep tabs on what's going on to make sure he doesn't need to book it out of town.
