II. RP Style

 

• Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
  Medium to heavy. I love roleplaying and do it as often as I can, though I'm all for OOC communication and planning.
  
• Views on RP combat and injuries:
  I love RP combat when it's done well, and if any serious injuries are sustained I roleplay accordingly. In a world with healing magic though, they might not last long. I'd rather not have my character be killed, though.
   
  
• Views on IC romance:
  Yeah, sure, if it makes sense.
   
  
• Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
  Hell yes! I love building relationships with other characters!
   
  
• Views on lore:
  Lore is, obviously, very important. If it says things are a certain way, or that something is impossible, you follow it. If you don't agree with the lore, there is nothing stopping you from making your own setting, but I'm playing FFXIV, and I intend to play in the FFXIV-verse.
   
  HOWEVER, game makers rarely have roleplayers in mind when making an MMO, and there are always situations that the developer didn't think about. I'm all for interpreting the vaguer things.
   
  
• Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
  I really like things like linkshells in games like this. It can be really hard working out how characters communicate over long distances, and this sort of thing is just really convenient. If it makes sense for two characters to have linkshells that connect to one another, I don't see any reason why they can't communicate ICly.
