Hey there, I'm Sapkowski and I am very happy to be introducing myself to you all, you can call me "Sapo" if you'd prefer.

 

 

I played some MMORPG's back in the early 2000's as a teenager, but I stopped by the time I got out of school. I've always been more prone to single player RPG's, with Japanese styled ones very close to my heart. This will be my first serious sit-down with an MMORPG in quite a few years and my apprehension aside, I'm excited for the experience.

 

 

I played quite a bit of Dungeons & Dragons while in school,  I also played a fair bit of Star Wars and Star Trek pen & paper too. Most of my conceptualization of role-playing comes from that background paired also with my experiences with fiction novels and books. I at least fancy myself remotely literate, so I feel have the appropriate skill and mindset for decent storytelling and character interaction. I intend to make full use of everything the game has to offer, so I will not be singlehandedly focused on role-playing, I intend to balance it in context with my gameplay goals. We'll see.

 

My character is a Elezen named "Geralt Thoreau." from the wildwood clan. I don't intend to reveal too much, but suffice to say he's a impetuous sellsword with a personality suited for daring and bravado, an Eorzean patriot yet ironically he bears an antagonistic attitude towards Hyur. 

 

 

Aside from that... I work in a cubicle, I enjoy watching soccer, like Pepsi over Coke, I read frequently, I like Indie films, and I profoundly enjoy the candy called Milky Way.
