Thought I should finally get around to posting one of these as I have been a member for a couple months now and lurking even longer. So, yeah *smiles and waves* Hello!

 

Let's see, where to start? I'm a avid gamer chic and have been for years. Let's just say I'm a stay at home mom and leave my age out of it *laughs* My first MMO was Everquest 1, however before that I was doing tabletop (DnD, Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, White Wolf, etc) and rping in text based media, from MUD's to chat rooms. I love to read and lose myself in a good book and I enjoy writing. The husband keeps trying to get me to try my hand at writing a book, but I'm my own worse critic.

 

Since Everquest 1, I've tried just about every MMO that has come out. The ones I actually stayed with and played for any length of time (and roleplayed in) are Everquest 1 & 2, WoW, Rift, COH/COV, GW1 and 2, and FFXI. Had I not been absorbed in other games at the time FFXIV was first launched, I probably would have been a part of 1.0, too. Being a long time Final Fantasy fan, I joined FFXIV: ARR in beta and was hooked. I had been feeling that lackluster feeling with most games lately and the friends that I gamed with a great deal through EQ2 and Rift have mostly moved on, so I'm looking forward to making new friends, new memories and watching my characters take on a life of their own.

 

Speaking of characters, I am on Arianne mostly as she is my healer. What can I say, I love healers. I also have a female Keeper of the Moon.

 

Anyway! This turned out much longer than I planned and you probably know more about me than you wanted to, but hey! There ya go. I look forward to meeting and rping with everyone. I'm always open for rp, so if you see me tumbling about Balmung (my main server) or Gilgamesh, feel free to poke me or strike up some rp. Just don't poke too hard, I bruise easy
