I. Basic Info 

 

Characters: Eskri Dibujo (Cactuar and Gilgamesh)  

Primary character: Eskri Dibujo (Currently Cactuar, trying to get into Gilgamesh)

Linkshells: Bards of Eorzea (Cactuar) (None on Gilgamesh)

Primary RP linkshell: Since my friend and I just started on it on Cactuar, Bards of Eorzea. 

 

 

II. RP Style 

 

Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): 

 

• Medium to light, I think? I am still pretty new to MMO RP, and I am playing between Gilgamesh and Cactuar servers (Same character, two different universes). 
  
• I am used to paragraph RP but learning how to do quick posts in game.  
  
• I haven't gotten to end game, and depending, I will let you know OOC that I'll be busy grinding, or will be progressing with story--would be interesting to RP dungeons together, although I sometimes I really need to focus if I am not familiar with an area. Like first-time dungeon. 
  
• I do tend to get in character and sometimes voice what Eskri is currently doing on a quest-- like delivering milkweed to the sylphs, or dusting paintings. 
  
• I am not sure if this applies, but I like roleplaying in third person in-game. writing things like....: 
  
  • *She looks around the vast room, her bi-colored eyes so full of wonder before she whispers softly into the pearl in her hand* I've never seen the inside of a castle before... Its so colossal. *she blinks and notices the room leads to two corridors. Her feet shift about* Uhm, where was the treasure located again..?  ((this is just some random example I made on the spot ))
    
  • Also, sorry for any spelling errors D: also, my keyboard tends to derp and eat letters. 
    

 

Views on RP combat and injuries:

Things like possible scars, bruises, broken bone that happen within a dungeon should be discussed beforehand, I think. I’ve never exactly combated RP before, since this is my first time doing MMO styled RP. I play as a conjurer, but I see it that her healing abilities alone can not patch up wounds entirely. Depending on the injury, other treatments must be given to the person who is hurt. Aether can only do so much, especially when the conjurer is still learning the trade. 

 

Views on IC romance:

 

• Really in for it! And it would be nice if it eventually does go to ERP. I haven’t RP’d smut with others (aside with my friends) in a long time, but I don’t mind details. I look forward to it actually. Fade to black scenes we can do if we don’t have the time, or skim over the scene if we are focused on another aspect in the RP. Also, I don’t mind ERP so long as it is done through private party, or some kind of personal linkshell. However, I don’t want these things forced. I like the characters to eventually get to that point. 
  
• (irl, I’ve had my run-ins and heard horror stories with people taking this romance aspect too seriously. I keep roleplay strictly fictional. Also, I am married, and I am comfortable with my love life. OOC comments should be kept in the bubbles ((like so)) and I don’t mind a comment here or there out of character, especially with a new RP partner. It helps me feel more comfortable and get to know the person I am playing with.)
  

 

Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):

I already created my own oC character brother for Eskri, who is mainly just a shadow in her past. Eskri was orphaned with her brother, so not much is known about other family members. If you read my profile and have some ideas, I won't mind playing it! It would be interesting if she has a friend, or someone from her past recognize her. 

 

Views on lore:

I am still learning the lore, and trying my best to memorize things. I’d like to keep to the game as much as possible, although I know my character has a history that has potential to expand and play with the lore. I guess its just my creative nature. And since I haven't gotten to end game, I still have so much more to learn and figure how to incorporate all the aspects of her history with it. I don’t want to ignore lore, but also don’t want to be chewed out if I get something wrong @_@ 

 

Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):

 

• Everything is in-character less I use the OOC, out of character, bubbles (( ))  
  
• /tells I like to play like its a private linkshell, but I prefer to play on a LS or party chat--since /tells offer room for a whole lot of mistypes ;; haha. But yes, I will be typing ((blablabla)) all the time less I’m RPing.
