II. RP Style 

 

• Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
  
• Heavy RP.
  
• IC in most situations, unless otherwise noted. I use brackets for OOC comments.
   
  
• Views on RP combat and injuries:
  
• RP combat really doesn't bother me, it just bothers me when people do it in...say...a city. Like...do you REALLY think that the authorities would just look away? "Oh look, there are two adventures over there fighting to the death?" No. It just doesn't happen, in my opinion. Now, I believe you can RP a fight between another person or NPC in a city, but you should be realistic and consider the fact that, yeah, guards are on the way and yes, they are going to get you if you decide to stick around. Now, if you made an effort to go into a concealed part of the city and try to duke it out, I don't mind that either. RPing the desperation to finish it quickly because you'll only have so much time until someone notices could be interesting. To add to this, making sure an attack is made at night would be much more realistic. Muggings, being jumped, gang warfare etc...they happen during the day, yes, but most happen at night. SO, I could see it happening then. Otherwise, keep it outside of the cities, and I think that's perfect. I role-play combat all the time, though rarely do I do it between another character. Mostly on NPCs for events and such. Imaaaagiiinaaationnn. 8D
   
   
  
• Views on IC romance:
  
• Nothing wrong with it. I RP romance, though I only do so with someone I trust. As long as the RP makes sense and nothing is forced, then yeah, I RP romance. I'm just choosy with those types of partners. ERP is something that I've done and have no issues with either, but again, only if it makes sense, and ONLY if I trust said person to a greater extent. If it's for fap material, then no. Go away. 
   
   
  
• Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
  
• Well, anything can be fun. Romantic RP, military RP, family RP etc...all of it can be fun if it's done right and you feel as if it can happen in this world. I like to stick to lore, so as long as the RP is conscious of that, then yeah I think anything can be fun.
   
   
  
• Views on lore:
  
• Ha, well I already somewhat answered this. I love sticking to lore. Creating lore or ignoring current lore is just counter-productive, in my opinion. Who's to say anyone is going to follow that? Better off writing yourself a fiction of your own. 
   
   
  
• Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
  
• I like to RP in /say and /em because it may pull some others into it. Who knows? Might make a friend or two just by doing so. Linkshells are cool too, when the clutter is just too much or if you're being courteous to other role-players and such. I know I hate it when I get slammed with a wall of text and only one of the nine or so posts are of interest to me and my character.
