An'nai Posted October 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2013 I. Basic Info Characters: An’nai Tir’Atha Primary character: An’nai Tir’Atha Linkshells: Seekers, TA:RP, Intermission, etc Primary RP linkshell: Seekers, TA:RP Character Profile: http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/wiki/index.php?title=An%27nai_Tir%27Atha II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I'm definitely a heavy RPer. Can't enjoy a game without RP. Views on RP combat and injuries: I have no qualms with RP combat and/or injuries. My character is, in fact, pretty weak when it comes to physical prowess and too gentle to cause harm to anyone. So, in a RP fight he'd be hurt pretty badly I'd say. I allow such things because, well, it's more realistic - and so long as the other player is not attempting to play a character that is 'invincible'. Views on IC romance: I don't mind IC romance and have been in RP relationships before. I'm open to them so long as they truly fit in with my character. If anything, IC romance can add a lot of depth and development to a person's character, Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Just like romantic-RP, I am of course open to the non-romantic. That should go without saying, after all everyone needs friends, family, acquaintances. All types of IC relationships only serve to add to a character's story and development Views on lore: My views on the lore are a little complicated, I guess. On the way I am in favor of trying to honor the lore. On the other hand, there just isn't enough lore for it to become an absolute RULE. If something seems plausible to me, I'll accept it even if there is no official basis in the lore. Everyone needs room to create their own concepts and ideas. Strict adherence to lore can become stifling and counterproductive. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Not entirely sure what this one is asking. I try to keep say as strictly IC, of course. As far as Linkshells go, well that depends on the rules of the Linkshell. They each have their merits. Things like party chat can be either IC or OOC, depending on the situation. Sometimes people I RP with prefer to take the RP to party chat to avoid being bothered by those who are less than friendly towards RPers. Party chat RP is also helpful when in crowded RP areas, since it keeps the chat box clear of too much chatter and makes following things a little easier. III.
