II. RP Style

 

• Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
  I tend to keep to the medium to heavy side.
   
  
• Views on RP combat and injuries:
  I do not mind RP combat in the slightest. Though, it is not something I go out of my way to seek. Also I will shy away from things that would leave permanent injuries for my character: Untreatable injuries, death, and the such.
   
  
• Views on IC romance:
  I tend to believe RP should reflect life and as such companionship and romance are often a part of that life. Though, Relexano is very introverted and conflicted when it comes to affection and feelings of romance in general.
   
  
• Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
  Relexano's family history plays a lot into him as a character. In turn he has no actual family at the moment. Or at least that he will speak of. Letting people get to know Relex, and watching him break out of his shell a bit is some of the most fun I have RPing. So it is always welcomed.
   
  
• Views on lore:
  I will follow it to the best of my ability. And I do feel people should try and do the same. If RPing in a world, one should focus on fitting in to that world, right?
   
  
• Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
  I prefer to keep RP to party or whispers. But if it is a public gathering I will act in /say or /em.

Greetings and welcome to the RPC Relexano!

 

I hope you've had the chance to meet a lot of interesting people on Gilgamesh so far, while its not my main server, I do like to pop in from time to time on an alt and see how things are going or putz around on my Lalafell, because lalas are just awesome. This is a Roleplay handbook put together by our own illustrious Eva, while you may already be familiar with many of the concepts that are outlined, I find the attention to detail, cross referencing, and emphasis on how things apply in FFXIV in particular to be good base of knowledge. Quite lengthy, the index at the top should allow you to focus in on any areas you'd like to get a second opinion on.

This Linkshell is an OOC hub for roleplayers on Gilgamesh, allowing you to get to know the people out in the world, perhaps find where they are, what they are up to, that sort of things. Also handy for identifying roleplayers themselves, they might not look it but many just go about their business until they let their "hair down" as it were.
