First-time Roleplayer. Kinda shy and nervous.

Getting lots of new Rp'ers in here. I am very new myself. If you ever want to RP and work out the bugs a bit and some of the shyness; you are free to poke me whenever ^^. I promise I won't bite...more like chew...on your face....:bomb:

 

How does someone who is new to RP have 400+ posts??? Do you make 10 to 20 posts a day? You have almost as many posts as Olofantur!

I just started RPing when GW2 came out last year. Only RP'd about 3 months there before I quit, and have been RPing in FFXIV since release. So I have only about 7 months under my belt.

Wow... I am absolutely overwhelmed. I was told that the Roleplaying Community were the nicest, most friendliest people you could ever come across in MMO's, and I just... I was reading some of the replies whilst at work and it made me smile : )

I probably won't have time to roleplay until Monday, but I will try and add all of you to my Friend list whenever I get on! It's such a shame that you can't send a pending friend invite if someone is offline : (

 

Funny thing is, despite my being so shy.. my character isn't.. lol. She is rather, in some ways, the person I wish I could be: do I see a lady who looks particularly pretty today during my travels? I will tell her she looks beautiful. Elyscia is very friendly and talkative and isn't shy at all, so I'm hoping it'll help break me out of my shell a little bit if I just go all out, randomly saying to people, "I LIKE YOUR EARRINGS!" or other spontaneous banter.

The game absolutely charmed me! The graphics were beautiful, the areas were vast and filled with wonders, the NPCs spoke in Mandirin, and for some reason my wings bugged so I could fly about infinitely and explore for as long as I wanted haha.

 

I am not sure if I'll be able to be there for the Event this Saturday - 9pm EST is 2AM here but I don't sleep until 6am so it should be OK.. lol. I really hope to meet some of you guys there at least.

 

Bah, well I need to go off to work now. But again.. thank you so much for all of your help (and Olofantur; your links, despite you being late...  )

Aah I sure didn't get that far ahaha. I loved the graphics and the world in general, also the pet system and all...but the grind ugh! I played during that neverending beta, then it stopped working and support was never able to help me...after like an year I was able to play again, when it changed from Online to Odyssey. Made a new char to try the new race, but then I logged my main (gourd weapon <3) and seen they were gifting me 20lvls and a load of items for having played during beta so...I got to more or less 40, but when the kill 10rats got too intense I stopped  I also guess it's not a game to play alone.

I tried adding a bunch of people but they were unfortunately offline! I'm glad to have caught some of you online to my friend's list though!
